    • @Agent_Aye11

Probably zero servers, probably 1-2 cooks, and management DOES NOT help when things get busy.
I worked in casual dining for about a year before I quit because of my shitty manager. But, during that year, I was a hostess/busser and there were numerous times where I would say that there was a waitlist. They would look around and say, "There is a bunch of empty tables over there." And every time a customer would say that, I would want to say, "Ya, no shit Sherlock. We have no server for that section of the restaurant."
Instead, I would say, "I'm sorry, but we're short-staffed and there is not a server for those tables."
I'd always get dirty looks from them. Even though, I could've been a bitch about it.
      Fun times.

@@kelleygreengrass I worked in multiple restaurants for nearly a decade, and I did see it once...
And it was a dude spitting in the food of a guy who his ex cheated on him with. So that one was kinda justified.
So yeah, unless you go around boning other people's significant others, and said significant others work in the restaurant you're ordering from... You're probably fine. Most people don't want to lose their job or catch a charge for something so petty.
Edit: to clarify, the guy who slept with my coworker's ex was not a random guy who was unaware of her relationship status, he was a good friend of my coworker who knew he was sleeping with my coworker's gf. He was not innocent in this scenario. Also, the food he spit in was being ordered for both of them, she just wasn't there picking it up. If I was unaware of the full situation I would've stopped him, because I agree, a person who is unaware of someone else's relationship status is at no fault in a cheating situation.

    • @IridescentW
      @IridescentW 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +15

@AngryAlfonse Not justified. This way of thinking is so stupid. Take issue with the woman who cheated on you. Don't hold it against some random stranger who didn't make any commitment to you.
Yeah if the guy knew she was in a relationship (they don't always know), what he's doing is wrong. But it's not nearly as wrong as what she's doing, as she's the one violating the relationship she committed to.
Another factor is women will tell the guy they're being abused, or that she's gonna break up with her bf, or something like that. Even if none of it is true, or they're equally terrible to each other instead of it being this one-sided "he's abusive" type of situation like she claims.
I had 2 times I could have fooled around with a woman but didn't (one of those their relationship was fine, the other one the guy was really into drugs and the girl was not great in her own way). One time I had the chance and did take it, because the woman assured me their relationship was dead and she was gonna leave him. She ended up marrying him. Women lie about this stuff so stop holding men accountable for what women do.

Charley Woodsby, has a long tradition in the restaurant industry with a career spanning over 60 years. From 1963 to 1983, Charley was a co-owner of Gary’s Duck Inn on Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando, FL. In 1968, he formed a business partnership with William Darden where they opened the very first Red Lobster in Lakeland, FL which changed the course of his entire career.
In two short years the partnership sold all five of their Red Lobsters to General Mills. Charley stayed on with the company to open 72 Red Lobster Restaurants across the country. At the age of 42, Charley left the General Mills organization to retire, but anyone that knows Charley knew his career was far from over. In just one year, Charley was back in business with his son, Ron Woodsby. The Woodsby’s continued their entrepreneurship by opening a steakhouse in 1974 in Lakeland named Talk of the Town and later expanded to four other locations in Winter Haven, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and Orlando.
In 1984, the names of the restaurants were changed to Texas Cattle Company and the Orlando location was renamed Charley’s, after the family’s patriarch. Ron’s son, Clark Woodsby has since joined the company as Executive Vice President. The generations of Woodsby’s now own and operate six restaurants in Central Florida, including Charley’s Steak House, FishBones, Texas Cattle Company and Vito’s Chop House.

Red lobster is a legacy chain with smelly carpet that old retired people go to for lunch, and younger people who don’t have better alternatives, go to in the evening. Back in the day when better seafood places were super expensive, they had the market, but nowadays, every decent size town has better alternatives.
I call places like this “carpet chains” because new restaurants don’t do carpets, but these guys have to, because they’re legacy brand features from the 90s and now if they switch they’ll lose the old people who go there and actually like carpet. They also do everything that Gordon Ramsey used to rip on when he did kitchen nightmares.
