I tested Ragnar's 3rd skill and it does not stack on itself but it refreshes its duration, I forgot to include in the video. Also the rank 1 equipment that I am suggesting here is the utmost best result combo, however, I dont think we should ignore the fact that getting blueprints for eternal night is easier than the leadership pants.
Timing should make the skill dmg bonus from his 4th only increasing the active skill from the primary, not enough long for the secondary’s. And any instant proc skill dmg happening in this window of times if he is paired with someone doing that
@@akinirenji Snare of thorns will not stack with the 3rd skill it is just giving you extra chance to slow enemy because now you have 2 skills to slow instead of 1. I am big advocate when it comes to movement speed slow on open field so it is also kind of based on my personal play style.
@@BilegtROK Did you test that? Because it should stack. Passive effects stacks as long as they are not the same. So his 3rd and the talent should stack if happening in the same timing. Just it is a low probability to happen, unless you are swarmed. The 3rd skill has no hidden cooldown, and as you said, it doesn’t stack on itself, max attack and speed you will gain will be at the maximum 20% and 30% no matter how many troops are hitting you. The more enemies, the more it will increase the average of the gain effect active time. In a 1v1, the average attack drained will be approximately 10,2% over time, which is anyway what every troop hitting you will loose on average. Just yourself will get an average from 10,2% to 20% depending how many attack you.
Great content! 🔥Love the depth and comparisons Helpful to know to place the crit horns on the marches using Feral Nature Would be cool to see how a 7th set of inf equipment compares: KvK Helm + Hammer Hope Cloak Leadership Legs, Boots, Gloves Also, curious about rally gear for Scipio + Pakal. They bring +60% health and 0% defense, so I feel they may perform better with a more defense heavy (but higher total stat) gear set.
I love this kind of videos the most! so we have also a proof why, which commander/Gear is stronger etc.. but please, don't make mistakes like last time on talentree, it destroys your trustworthy. keep going, i hope you will be like Mr. Wick, a streamer from the past who did mathematic calculations as you do

@@BilegtROK no, thanks goes to you. it helps me and others alot to make the correct decisions and I know how much work is behind everything, thank you!
love your video! will you suggest RP/SP or RP/LC (if you have enough GH to expertise both). my theory is LC have 5 target aoe compare to SP and SP is a very old hero already. looking at future investment, LC is still a higher chance for better pairing. which will you pick ?
I would put LC primary if paired with RP it might overrage with the talent tree I suggested or you can go full into infantry tree and take 2 points into rejuvenate if RP is primary. I honestly understand what you are saying but its a bit early to tell for me. Would RP/LC work? Yep. Would better commander to pair with RP and LC come in future? Yep. But we do not know when. Great vision though!
You should do a Ragnar prime testing running different combinations to find the best pair even tho scipio prime is already decided running a test would be nice to see!
I notice you dislike the 4/6 inf set as it sacrifices trading stats for march speed. What are your thoughts on stats vs march speed? For armaments on your ZL or YSG march, would you prefer defense or march speed rolls? If possible, would you prefer to have all of your field marches moving at the same speed as your ZL march, and trade excess march speed for other stats? Or would you prefer to have some marches that apply slows moving faster to catch runners?
Yes, not dislike but it dont fit my playstyle. I would prefer move the same speed as ZL Herman on all marches. ZL YSG is too slow for me. On open field, I position my city carefully that when I press return button, you go back exactly at the opposite of enemy ball. When you press return, instead of just pressing to go back, your movement speed increases a lot and you return to your city much faster than just running on the field. I dont exactly know what mechanic is this or the number behind it but it was approx 15% movement speed increase. I like getting the 7% atk and 7% movespeed rune as well. So this eliminates me getting chased by enemies. When It comes to offensive, I like having move spd slow so that I can chase enemies. Which is also I would choose Huo over Nevsky right at this moment but I just do not have enough GH. So this is my playstyle that works well for me. There are other open field tactics I have but yeah infantry movespd is noy a problem for me. I would prefer all my marches stay balled up but decently fast how to say.
@@BilegtROK You're thinking of the Rapid March alliance tech mechanic. +22% march speed when marching to a destination on alliance territory. Makes sense 👍 You prefer all your marches moving together, so you sacrifice tank stats on your ZL march to speed it up as much as possible. Since ZL lacks march speed in his skills and archers don't have an extra +6% march speed talent option like infantry, you don't need very much march speed from your infantry equipment/armaments to match the speed of your ZL march. Would you intentionally leave your infantry marches' boots at awakening II, and prioritize taking your ZL's boots to awakening V and crit for the 13% march speed? Or would you first prioritize critting pieces that give health or awakening helm/weapon pieces for the all damage? I also prefer the 7 attack & movespeed rune instead of a Health or Fire rune 🤣I really value march speed a lot - unless I'm fighting on a bridge or next to a mountain/river where my marches don't fan out while attacking. If my marches stay balled on top of each other while attacking, then march speed seems useless. But if I'm fighting in a location where my marches fan out while attacking, then I: -attack the nearest enemy at the front of their ball -attack for 2-3 seconds (until my marches start to fan out too far) -pull my marches back to ball them up again -attack again and repeat over and over If my marches stop attacking for ~5 seconds, then they will leave combat and lose all their rage, so I feel the faster my marches can pull back and reengage, the less often I will lose my rage while fighting. Also, if my micro is bad and one of my marches over extends and starts to get swarmed, I usually pull that march very deep into our ball - but when the marches chasing it die, I only have ~5 seconds to get that march back to the front line before it leaves combat and loses all it's rage. I only run 1 cav march, and I skipped Huo 🤣 I prefer to use AOE commanders as primary when able (to stay in combat easier), so I run Joan + William / Nevsky. I really like running 5/5 Cage of Thorns on Joan at the expense of some march speed in the cavalry talent tree. Her double cast works really well with Cage of Thorns while chasing. Would be cool to see some fight footage from your next KvK 💪Your preference for stats over march speed makes sense to me as long as you are able to stay in combat. I spend a tremendous amount of time micromanaging my marches to keep them safe and in combat, so if there are *ANY* tricks/ways to manage my troops to move less and attack more - I'd love to learn and benefit 🤣🍻
Should I expertise RP over LC? I get that currently LC is op but I feel like RP might be more future proof because he has a unique kit and LC doesn't. All LC basically does is deal dmg. RP has his drain, where he debuffs the enemy and buffs the own march and he brings a ton of stats. So as a very low spender I think debuffing the enemies in order to help my alliance deal more dmg makes more sense in the long run than going for selfish dmg, especially since I don't have T5 units yet. Plus we get the rewards for upgrading him and he get his accessory in that one kvk. So I see more benefits to RP than LC. What do you think?
I am investing to Ragnar because I just think he is badass Viking. But other than my personal taste, I am choosing to go Ragnar because I have ZL & Herman 5551 march. They will synergize better than LC. However, if I had the GH I would have LC expertised as well. Besides dealing damage, he does it really fast, he also slows down enemies with his skill. And that movement speed slow is superb on open field and it fits my playstyle. I think, in future if they release another AOE smite dmg open field commander, if that happens, that new commander and LC is gonna go up to god tier pair. But this is big "IF"
@@BilegtROK Yeah that is true, LC's chance to do extra attacks and generate rage is really strong. I'm just looking at this from a low spender perspective where I know that I won't be dealing the majority of the dmg in comparison to my whale team mates. I don't have T5 units and also my march would be LC expertise with Alex 5111. Idk how much dmg I'm really gonna get out of this. On the other hand with RP expertise and ScipioP 5111 I'm at least helping out my team mates. That's at least my thinking, maybe I'm wrong about this. I'm trying to figure out my playstyle and I think I'd like to be a supporter rather than a dmg dealer, is that a valid approach to the game?
@Zamer27 i do not recommend running unexpetised LC with Alex. The only way LC is making Alex viable is he doing double attack which increases chance of Alex skill damage to proc. Unexpertised LC is better with Scipio in my opinion. I ran 5511 LC & 5555 Alex this kvk and it didnt perform particularly well. I am also small spender.
