My view is that people who wrote those books, their intention is to glorify their hero. They have different sources. But the worst part is we don't have the originals manuscripts of any books of the Bible.
Why is the lack of the _original_ manuscripts important? How many _original_ manuscripts about any historical figure from over 500 years ago do you know of? Indeed, how many _original_ manuscripts of any history book published in the last 500 years can you point to?
I can accept Alexander the Great existed without any historical books, just retold stories because whether he existed or not, but it would not affect my life at all. People creating laws based on Christ’s life does. And this goes for any religion. It sets up an”us” versus “them” mentality. Take a quick look at the middle east or Afghanistan. Northern Ireland in the recent past. The crusades, the inquisition ( which lasted over 400 years btw). Your beliefs effect your decisions and faulty beliefs will create faulty decisions.
@@convinceme6676 You're so right! Faulty belief causes faulty decisions. I wonder why those laws were ever passed? Which ones exactly do you object to?
(Sorry for the VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be said) Kind Sir...of course, NO English bibles are accurate; from "Gen To Rev". And this is why: The bibles began with "Hebrew to Aramaic to Greek to Latin to Manuscripts into English". And any wise Translator, would say, "It's impossible to have an English Bible, and be 100% accurate!". And to prove this...go to the Web; and seek the "GreatSite Co" of the "English Bible History". Then spend many hours; to find out of, the English Bible. And if you're a wise Christian...you WILL know; that no Bible can be accurate! Especially...if it's English. Sad, but OH So true. May Jesus be mercy. And this is why today's 2 New English Bibles* came into being; are the NASB (1972 AD); and the NIV (1973 AD). And they say; "The MOST accurate ,ever translated"! Where the NASB are translated "word by word"; while the NIV are translated "phrase by phrase"! And many say, "It's better to get the NIV; unless you are really up, on the (crazy) English language". ...in any case kind Sir and Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN! * (NASB) “New American Standard Bible”, (NIV) “New International Version”. And they have created a New "KJV" bible (NKJV 1982 AD); because the other bibles are so wanted today. Praise Jesus' Holy Name!
Most modern English Bibles are translated directly from the original Hebrew & Aramaic languages for the Old Testament and from the original Greek language for the New Testament. I don't know where you got this multi-level path from those languages to English from, but it seems you've never read the preface to whatever translation you're using.
@@convinceme6676 No it's not necessary of any Scripture; from the very beginning! And wise Bible Scholars knows this. Because languages make every thing crazy. They, know that any time they translate from one language to another language; there ARE going to be errors; that can't stop. And not to mention several translates; it simply goes wild. So the best way to find the Truth! Is to pray to Jesus ONLY; and ask Him for "Wisdom, Understanding and the Truth!". Because, Jesus (whose name of the ONLY true God Almighty) is the ONLY "Inerrant and Infallible Being; there will ever Be! And Praise Jesus' Holy Name. Amen!
@@MrPatdeeeeHow do you know you're not being given information from a demon pretending to be Jesus? If you don't accept scripture, how would you know? Why would a God so powerful that He was able to create the universe, not be able to control the accuracy of the Holy Scripture that tells the World His story? I understand atheists dismissing scripture as infallible but it doesn't seem logical for a person who really believes in God.
The gospels are not biographies but theological treatises of the different authors. His use of the word "biography" is inaccurate. He's an apologist and therefore biased. His entire premise is built on sand. The gospels are not histories.
Present your evidence that they're not histories and not biographies. We, and many others, would fervently disagree with you. They're very clearly biographies around the life of Jesus at a bare minimum. All you have to do is read them to determine that much!

He is amazed at having 4 gospels but there are many more gospels that weren't included in the bible.
Yes, and at 11:40 he addresses that.
