A great discussion. I really enjoyed the fact that you have touched on the contradictions in the Bible. That's a topic which might need to be discussed on its own.
God bless you for this ministry to prosper for His glory.

Profound statements by Jesus impacted me as a teenager and never left me.
    1) Before Abraham was I Am.
    2) I Am the Way the Truth and the Life, nobody comes to the Father except through Me.
There is no other name under heaven, that I know of, who made such claims. I asked myself why would anyone make up such statements. Also Jesus always had the right profound answers to trick questions like when he asked for a coin and said who's image is on it and said, give unto Caesar that which is Caesar and to God that which is Gods. Incredible wisdom. Maranatha

@Mandosbando they are all dead. None of the were before Abraham was. And what make you think I never read their books? None of them claimed to be God or worked miracles. None of what they say is fact, just imaginings and thoughts just like you or anyone else could do if they tried.

Krishna makes those exact claims in the Bhagavad Gita, him, Jesus, and Buddha have a lot of very VERY similar sayings just withing their culture. In fact John has A LOT in common with it
But Krishna has pretty much those identical claims except he didn't say he was before Abraham but before creation. John rips off the Bhagavad Gita and Hindu ideas big time

James Warner has many videos that confirm Christian is true. One in particular he shows how all other gods throughout history make similar claims to Jesus Christ, many were added after Jesus Christ lived. From memory I think that the total number of claims James discovered is 15. All other gods between them don't have more than half while Jesus has 15. He also proves the the other gods added from what Jesus accomplished during his ministry. So don't be deceived by false claims. Jesus has eye witnesses to all his miracles. Bible prophecies prove the divinity of Jesus Christ as he fulfilled over 100 Old Testament prophecies during His lifetime and for that to happen by chance is mathematically impossible! Maranatha

God, according to Christian’s, loaded the NT full of warnings about Jesus. Jesus shows up, does amazing miracles, affecting thousands of people, preaches his word for three years….. and his people have him killed. If people expecting him and witnessing his life and preaching have him killed why would you worship him? There is some disconnect between the reality of a Jesus and the gospels. Not a single Martyr for the living Jesus.

Excellent interview in the scope of the Gospels and coupled with great questions and in depth explanation in the answers by this historian - scholar with the most important person and manifestation of the man and God Jesus Christ that is in my personal opinion that I strongly believe most skeptics and atheist of course would not agree with me. Jesus of Nazareth to the cross and executed by the Jews who made sure said execution would be fully endorsed and the Romans to fully carry it out to see that the execution of Jesus of Nazareth would be as well carried out. The powerful and beyond remarkable result as that with both the endorsement and push on forward to make sure Jesus of Nazareth would be violently executed by order of the Jews and carried out to get it done by the Romans then regardless of the humiliation and beyond horrible unforgivable most unjust murder in the flesh of God Himself in the human manifestation in Jesus Christ He then Jesus Christ King of Kings defeated death by been Risen on the third day. Death could not defeat Him because He is God. ‘ My Father and I are ONE ‘ This is what the world in general has missed by just focusing on the person of Jesus of Nazareth but sadly enough to focusing on the most powerful even that is so profound without doubt or argument that indeed by faith and with evidence as it was witnessed by more than 500 people ( Jews ) primarily as for 40 days the Risen Jesus Christ the Resurrected Jesus Christ was seen and some of these witnesses sat to eat with Him and listened to Him and spoke to Him and very likely like Thomas also touched Him to attest of His powerful Resurrection because He is God. No greater man and perfect Loving God than Jesus Christ in which no rejection and denial even of His existence that many hold as fact that Jesus ‘ never existed ‘ like the present day Jews hold solidly to this insane reality in their religious mindset in their veils that keeps them blind folded in such position.
I appreciate the conversation however although informative the missing aspect of the dryness and subdue atmosphere of said conversation does not move me internally in my heart and soul however Jesus Christ who is my blessed Loving foundation does moves me inside very deeply and powerfully because the Love and reverence to Him is my greatest gift to live and even die for …
    Without Jesus Christ in me I am nothing…! ! ! !

It's absolutely shocking that you can radically go against so many extremely clear scriptures that directly state in Jesus's own words that his Father is greater than he, that he is returning to his Father who sent him, that only the Father knows the time of the end, not even the son, that even his followers would do greater things that he, also to question, why his Father had forsaken him, then that His Father had ressurected him, additionally that after Jesus's thousand year rein he would give back the keys if the kingdom to his Father who had commissioned him and there are more,,,,, also in John where he says Jesus is God's only begotten SON, clearly defines Jesus as born from his father,, and then when John said Jesus was the word and a God as a lesser subsequent being in relation to his Father,, all of this and more clearly makes Jesus a unique but nevertheless lesser being than the Father, ,, he is the high priest at the Father's right hand..... to negate all of this and say Jesus IS GOD, is outrageously incoherent if a person actually believes the Bible is essentially true.... I Challenge you to reconsider your out of context stance, with regard to the biblical references above.

Jesus is God. You must not believe in the triune-3 persons making up God. Matthew chapter 28 verse 18: "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." Also, Jesus rose from the dead. We have proof of that. The Shroud of Turin. They have done a new test on a thread and it dates back to the time of his death. You might want to study it.
No one has ever risen from the dead which is proof he is God.

Jesus was not a genius because he said a couple of wise things.Do you not see he was being presented as a "philosopher king" so that he would be more accepted by the Greek gentiles?? Even the naked boy in Mark was clearly put there to appease an audience who practice Pedarasty and increase the likeablity of Jesus to the higher class in Greece. The true geniuses are Socrates, Plato and Aristotle.
