I think I could go bankrupt in this lovey broconte 😂 .. it must be nice to find a fellow Dutch speaker too
Hahaha! Me too!😅😂
Awesome shop.
I would lose my mind shopping there.😊
😊
The copper pieces were amazing as were the Le Cruset pieces
You could use the little snail cups for individual salt and pepper pots, with little silver spoons. So cute!
Fabulous shop, great prices. Thanks for sharing. Happy Mother's Day!
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this amazing brocante. Everything is so beautifully displayed. Such attention to detail and such a beautiful inventory.
My pleasure!
@@FrenchCountryLife Beautifully filmed as well! I felt like I was really there!
@@kathywinstead7460 Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this day with us.
❤the shop and the prices were great.
Ohh, I love the silver!
Such a lovely brocante.
This was just a wonderful video, I felt like I was right there shopping myself. I loved so many items, the silver and the linens especially. Thanks for taking the time to share.
Wow, great finds! I be in deep trouble if I was there!
I so much appreciate how slowly you showed each item and the Hallmarks on the back. Most vlogs move so quickly over the shelves that we can’t really see everything. There was a beautiful stained glass lamp I saw in the background that I would love to add to my collection. As you were showing us the silverware, I realized that I have my special occasion silverware sitting in a box and now I am going to put it out for use when I have guests twice this summer. The pretty brush and mirror set reminded me of my mother who had a nice set sitting on a mirrored tray on her dresser my whole childhood. Thank you for the lovely shopping trip!
Yes bring out the silver and use it! In my family we use the nice dishware and glasses and yes things break but they are meant to be used and enjoyed!
Yes my grandmother had a brush and mirror set just like this and I remember always touching and admiring it when I went to my grandparents as a child. My grandmother had the most gorgeous thick and wavy hair! When I saw this in the shop it reminded me of her and my childhood spent in their cozy home ❤️
I would have loved to have seen her jewelry. And more decorative smalls. 💚
Loved the toile patterned box of the second silverware set. That gave me an idea for one of my silverware boxes. The pattern of the first set of silverware you picked up is called the Kings pattern in the US. It was first produced here in the 19th century (based on an 18th century French design). It was also the official silverware pattern of the U.S. Navy and used in the naval officer's mess.
I'm with you on turning snacks and meals into a moment by using our antique silver and china. I always say I'm going to do it more often so thanks for the reminder/encouragement. I have lots of 19th century silver flatware and it's so fun to use. They produced utensils for each type of food for both eating and serving so complete sets were massive.
Love this shop. Thanks for taking me along.
Love all the items
It really is such a pleasure to come along with you to this lovely Brocante . There were so many wonderful things. I loved the blue transferware vegetable dish. When you first arrived there was a metal colander it is the same one that my grandmother had and is now in my kitchen. That is what I love about Brocantes you feel like you are at your grandmothers house❤. Thank you so much for taking us to Honeys shop . Love your videos.
My pleasure!
I love the silver and linens!
You kept your promise to post a visit to the brocante this weekend!!
Of course!
Leuke zaak. Thank you Marloes ! 🙏💕🌷🇳🇱
Leuk Yvonne! Je bent het niet verleerd!
The beautiful linens would be such a temptation! They were in such perfect shape.
Ooo what a lovely shop. Thanks for sharing this.
My pleasure!
Love the shop and she is Dutch like me ,the frence have the best vintage decor in Europe i feel .I collected Ragout table wear from befor 1960 for years ,it's not frence but from Maastricht but it is vintage and i love the creamy white color of it .
Such beautiful items.❤️ I loved everything in the store. I thought the prices were decent. I probably would have bought a lot of items. 😊
Thank you for doing this..such a lovely curated Brocante! I loved the cake plates with matching serving plates.
My pleasure!
please send me a mail if you are interested, thanks Hanny
Everything was so beautiful in the antique shop. I used to have a soup terrine that was iron stone nice to put flowers in it. It was so pretty the buckets. The rusted buckets are beautiful. I could see flowers and vines growing out of them. I hope you show it decorated at some point. I’m new to your channel. Have a beautiful summer.
Welcome to the channel!
The tea pots and pottery and the mirror with basin etc loved the whole place! Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
My pleasure!
Great video. Thanks!

It was me that asked about those tiny bowls! When you showed these, I said, “I know what those are for”. Lololol
😁
Love love love!!! Thank you for browsing the beautiful shop & items, esp with the prices. We love Autun & will be visiting this October. We will have to visit the shop & we must connect with you in order to plan a potential stay at your gorgeous country cottage/cabin. We will live vicariously thru you for now :)
Oh lucky you! Enjoy your trip to France and we would love to welcome you here!

Loved the stationary box. So pretty.
Yes I thought that was so classy!
Oh my! My kind of shop 😍😍😍
Heerlijk! Even een mooie Brocante bezoeken. Maar je andere vlogs zijn ook geweldig! Rustige geniet momenten! Zelfs de vlogs van Olaf zijn top 😀
Thanks Marloes! Lots of very interesting things & prices seemed quite reasonable - too many temptations for me!
☺️
Merci.
So many things I’d buy! Torchons, spice bottles, canisters, enamelware…..
My word!
Ohh I would have loved to get the pencil box! I just love them!
please send me a mail if you are interested, thanks Hanny
Niet alles in fantastisch, geweldig en goedkoop!
Thank you very much l would loved to have been there with you beautiful things just what l like. Much appreciated regards Lesley in anglesey 🙋
Hello ! Lot of beautiful items in this brocante shop ! Thanks for bringing us virtually to AUTUN Village L948+Sub.❣️ Have a happy day 🕰️🥀
Such a beautiful brocante. Thank you for showing us around. Unfortunately postage to Australia would be way too expensive 😢
I know, that is always such a pain and nothing to do about it… It depends on the weight though but still will be quite an investment which is worth it still if you can find a good deal.
please send me a mail if you are interested, thanks Hanny
I have found sometimes you can be surprised with cost of postage from places like this, quite affordable & worth the little extra cost!
Only thing is it can take a little bit longer to arrive, air post costs more but quicker.
I'm in Australia too, also weight is what costs so buying a couple of things at a time, or a big thing can help to break up the cost!
You need to give lessons on how to do this. I loved your video! You show interesting items, the film quality was good. Please do more and let the amateurs learn how to do it right!
Thanks! I don’t know if there is a wrong or right honestly. My rule of thumb is “buy what you like”… when buying for yourself! And don’t worry too much about paying the right price as long as the item is worth the price to you.
Loved the reason given for no knives in the beautiful box. Was that jewelry on her arm/hand? I have never seen anything like that. The whole video is awesome.
It‘s a medical brace
Love the beautiful linens...but iron so seldom now. Still, they would be worth it. Both you and Hanny speak excellent English, Dutch and French. Were they learned in school or all native to country regions? Belated Happy Mother's Day!
Nobody speaks Dutch so we have to learn other languages!
❤❤❤
Things were very reasonably priced in this shop.
💕💕💕
😮😮😮 such a great find!!!!! I loved the bird prints with the black frame! The linens are always a weakness, what was that restaurant???
The restaurant is called Zuppa Zuppa in Autun.
please send me a mail if you are interested, thanks Hanny
Beautiful things , I love the big tapisserie. Did she tell you the price?
No sorry didn’t ask for the price. You can contact Hanny to ask about it!
Lovely video, interesting and attractive product displays. I am intrigued by the proprietors own silver thumb to wrist jewellery arrangement. Do you know if this is a design she created and had made? Thanks so much for sharing.
I don’t know but she’s reading the comments so I will let her reply!
thanks for your interest, I have rheumatism , so it's a medical , this is personally tailored for me from silver, and nicer and more practical than the usual support brace, greetings Hanny
@@hannyvandenbrink6272 apologies for the delay, just saw this. That certainly is a very elegant and tasteful response to a very painful condition. I like the design. Does it function as well for you as a standard brace would?
@@denisew1916 Yes, for sure !!
I bought one of those pottery jugs in Austin Tx for $5.00. It was stamped France.
Oh wow, what a lucky find!!
MP would be great for Michael Petheric on Doing it ourselves. In France.
Nice prices, cute shop, must be expensive to ship to USA???
It depends on the weight and could be anywhere between 20 and 50€. You can always ask Hanny to look into it if you’ve seen something you liked!
I would have gotten the foot stool great for displaying for different heights
👍👍👍❤
Was that a bracelet or wrist brace? If a wrist brace it actually was pretty. If jewelry very interesting
A brace that she had custom made.
👍🌼
Beso y abrazo grande desdeArgentina
Thank you!
Also do you know how to get the subtitles in French? I am trying to learn French thank you
I think you should be able to turn them on but beware: they are automatically translated and not always accurate. I don’t recommend using them to learn French honestly because there will be many mistakes in them unfortunately as I do not enter them myself but it’s automatically translated by TH-cam.
Thank you! I am not sure how to turn on automatic translations. I have noticed that they seem to be available when I manually add English subtitles, which I realize I haven’t done for this video…
😏
Is the lady in the shop speaking German?
To some people it’s a treasure.
@@FrenchCountryLife 😀
They should start an online business selling them!
Not much!!!
A lot of rubbish
To each their own 😊
