    Well if i could give u a little advice, if you have to stretch around a round object, u apply the most plain surface first, pre-stretch with heat where u need to go around (bumps), wrap around it and shrink it with heat again, so u have less stretching when u apply it on on the plain surfaces, u will have no more tension, you know what i mean? :)
    Guess that helps for everybody, pro tipps from a wrapper ;)
    nice vid btw!

    Man, getting my new car soon and asuch as I like led oems, I hate the white 6000k colour output since forever because the of the glare on rain droplets and since I'm running 3000k, I'm so use to see yellowish beams.
    Hoping to get the tint to work out iny favour.

    nice work. how did the vinyl hold up? any cracking or peeling? i wonder if the adhesive leaves a residue if peeled off.

    • @novagarage38

      I took it off not too long after because the yellow light was just not sitting with me. It didn’t leave any residue, but Vivid has a pretty good reputation for being quality.

    • @novagarage38
      @novagarage38  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@xRedApache it took me less than an hour for each light to install the actual film. I did watch hours of videos oh how to use this film and their air release vinyls in general. I guess with prepping the light it could take up to 3 hours but a pro who knows the film well should be able to bang it out pretty quickly.

    Did you notice a drop in headlight illumination?

    • @novagarage38
      @novagarage38  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't notice any drop in illumination per se, but the projected light was obviously yellow and that started to bother me after driving for about an hour, IDK if just because I wasn't used to it or what. I didn't notice a difference in the overall visibility though, and that was night driving through pitch-black roads in a rural area. I do have LED headlights, It might be a bit more noticeable drop with xenons, but I doubt its significant.

    • @novagarage38
      @novagarage38  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe so, first hit on a google search says Section 25950 of the California Vehicle Code states: “Unless provided otherwise, the color of lamps and reflectors upon a vehicle shall be white or yellow for those visible from in front of a vehicle.” You might still get hassled, I remember seeing a video of a dude in Cali getting ticketed for it multiple times and he had to go to court to fight it and won, but they still continued to pull him over and hassle him, which is why he started recording the encounters with a dash cam for a harassment claim.
