When she had her whole debacle (which I won’t get into) back in August, more people were disliking her videos than liking. Here's how I look at it..... After pursuing the entertainment industry myself, I realize that there's always a right and wrong way to go about things. As a singer, actor, actress, fashion/commercial/print model, the industry can be tough to get your foot in the door, but I realize that if that's your craft, use social media to build it, and let that be your online portfolio. With that said, the main goal for entertainers, caters more so to agents, managers, casting directors, producers, etc. That's what many of them see. And truthfully, if you're getting known by THEM, you will get picked up by them. That leads to REAL industry jobs.... Sometimes you may have to follow some rules, but the key is navigating through them will gain much more money and jobs. Your Social media is the portfolio. Your followers, they come and go, but you can't always please them. Yes, followers might make up the bulk of your recognition, but what do they really do? FOLLOW you. Are they helping you? Are they figuring out how to partner, make deals, and network? Not necessarily so. Now, industry friends, those are the ones who will truly be your fans, colleagues, etc.Your REAL family alongside of agents, managers, producers And to be honest, I was told this.... "If you're just taking pictures and modeling without getting paid, you're nothing but an instagram model." I look at that quote as if you're just targeting a following without trying to gain where you NEED to go, to be successful. Network, and look for the industry workers.

There is is no room for people to think they can’t make it or be famous like it is so easy to be recognized on Instagram and become a famous rich actor, model, artist, etc, etc. people with that mind set are clearly limited because they think they cannot make it which is not true but they won’t if they keep that type of mindset.

As a singer, actor, actress, fashion/commercial/print model, the industry can be tough to get your foot in the door, but I realize that if that's your craft, use social media to build it, and let that be your online portfolio. With that said, the main goal for entertainers, caters more so to agents, managers, casting directors, producers, etc. That's what many of them see. And truthfully, if you're getting known by THEM, you will get picked up by them. That leads to REAL industry jobs.... Sometimes you may have to follow some rules, but the key is navigating through them will gain much more money and jobs. Your Social media is the portfolio. Your followers, they come and go, but you can't always please them. Yes, followers might make up the bulk of your recognition, but what do they really do? FOLLOW you. Are they helping you? Are they figuring out how to partner, make deals, and network? Not necessarily so. Now, industry friends, those are the ones who will truly be your fans, colleagues, etc.Your REAL family alongside of agents, managers, producers And to be honest, I was told this.... "If you're just taking pictures and modeling without getting paid, you're nothing but an instagram model." I look at that quote as if you're just targeting a following without trying to gain where you NEED to go, to be successful. Network, and look for the industry workers.
Honestly, with technology and stuff like that. There is is no room for people to think they can’t make it or be famous like it is so easy to be recognized on Instagram and become a famous rich actor, model, artist, etc, etc. people with that mind set are clearly limited because they think they cannot make it which is not true but they won’t if they keep that type of mindset.
