Thank you for sharing. Met the kind soul known as Carlos Santana at William Beaumont Army Medical Center back in 2010. He was here to support a friend thatbhad surgery. I was the recovery room nurse that was waking his friend up f from anesthesia. Took a while, so I spent three hours with Carlos. He signed his autograph to NURSE STAY CALM, my patch on my uniform. Forever grateful and a fan.❤
Carlos Santana.
Carlos looks soooooo happy here!! Probably the happiest I've ever seen him!! I see Chris Layton, Doyle Bramhall 2nd and Charlie Sexton on stage, all STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN ties! Rip SRV, Long live Carlos and the crew! Viva La Raza✊🏼
Still kickin' ass, he's doing EXACTLY whatever he wants... and you can STILL recognize him from ONE NOTE. With Garcia, SRV and now Jeff Beck out playing with the tweety-birds, Santana's the only one with HIS OWN SOUND left.
Yes , that's true. On early 80's, the Road House Blues was a significant song to make us to dance in street parties, in Spanish slang we called'em "las tocadas." Every Saturday night on those years, we, the youth of the barrio, the neighborhood, used to go to street fests or parties to listen and to dance rock, also the movie The Warriors has a huge impact in us, the teens and youth of that epoch. Best regards from Nezahualcoyotl, México.
Darryl (sp?) has forever been un-recognised, except for the many many musicians that employ him ??? He is a FUCKING jewel that always "Brings-It FULL-ON !!! where -ever / when- ever and with-out fail !!! Always glued on him ... denis !!!
You give some people a microphone, and they become idiots and start doing stupid things.
I spent good money on excellent tickets for Santana, whose music I love. But he forced the audience to endure a long mindless screed on various "woke" politically correct topics. We're not talking about an offhand comment or two, it was like a "woke" ted talk weaved into the performance. So screw you Carlos. I didn't spend a couple hundred bucks to be preached to. I spent it to be entertained. Never again.
Great ! 👍🏼👌🏾🔥❤💕😍🌹🌹🌹

For those who didn't know, The Doors are immensely popular in Mexico - as popular as The Beatles or The Stones
i wished there was a decent touring The Doors tribute band. It's music I just don't get a chance to hear live and loud. Please subscribe!
Exacto...

Was that Chris Layton on drums?
it was. I was Teching for him on this tour run and Santana Last second that weekend invited the boys up for 2 songs.
Was that Doyle Bramhill on rhythm guitar?
Looks like it. The other guy being probably Charlie Sexton.
