How to answer behavioral interview questions using the S.T.A.R technique.
S.T.A.R stands for Situation, Task, Action and Result.
SITUATION: You begin your answer and tell the interviewer the SITUATION you were faced with.
TASK: Next, you tell them the TASK that needed doing.
ACTION: You then move on and give in-depth details about the ACTION you took to achieve the task.
RESULTS: Finally, you will finish your answer and tell the hiring manager the RESULTS of your actions. Always make sure the results are POSITIVE!
Now that we know what behavioral interview questions are, why they are being asked, and how to answer them using the STAR technique, let me give you some top-scoring answers in a live interview. I'm going to have to binge watch your content. You have just earned a subscriber. I've had interview before where while I know I didn't smash the questions, I was able to give looser examples without great emphasis on a specific scenario. My last interviewer told me multiple times to be more specific. He asked nothing but behavioral questions wanting very fine examples and I was drawing blanks. Frustrating and maybe a more difficult interview than most, but I've identified a huge gap for myself.

Hi Richard! Using your videos now since Im applying for a job at my favourite org. I cannot thank you enough. Your help is so invaluable and calms me down when I start panicking or feel scared.
I have another question, about resumes. I worked one part time job and one full time, and I did badly at both because of my utter lack of self awareness and did not know how to be a good employee. I have done a 180 since, but haven't been working since the last job. Since those are my only two work experiences, do I absolutely have to include them in my resume? Im afraid to include them because they might affect my chances, and how do I explain that I have completely changed? Thanks!
Try to look for the positives in everything you've done and just focus on the positives in your resume :)
