Seen them live last week. I'm 17 and I didn't see ANYONE else at all my age. More young people need to appreciate this band, they're awesome! So underrated!
Duran Duran were the first band I got into as a 7 year old in 1981 when Planet Earth was released in the UK. To me they will always be Taylor Taylor Taylor Rhodes LeBon just like the writing credits used to say for their earlier songs. This whole concert is fantastic.
Great performance! Saw them live in Antwerpen this tour. Oh and Andy, I don`t care if you have to sell your soul to the devil but please DO come back!!! Without you the band is amputated.
truly underrated, really glad i got to see it live last year during the latest tour, now only have to hear "vertigo (do the demolition)" and I can die a happier person
Most emotional concert I ever went to. I'm somewhere in row 2, John's side. Not a pair of dry eyes at the end, both on stage and in the audience. Both nights actually.
What an awesome version of this song! Hey, does anyone know what the symbol on the belt buckle's meaning is? It's a symbol off the 7 and the ragged tiger album, and I have always wondered what it stands for.
it's been a long time, but I think I recall Simon saying that it was just something they made up along with the overall concept of the album. one of those things left up to the individual to interpret maybe
The symbol represents the 7 of them at the time..the 5 of them plus their 2 managers at the time Paul and Michael Berrow.. That's why it's on the Seven and the Ragged Tiger album.. It has withstanded time even after they were no longer their managers as the ultimate Duran Duran symbol.. And all the hardcore Duranies such as myself all have this symbol tattooed somewhere on their bodies 😃 mine and my husbands are on our ankles
ok. mal auf Deutsch... Immer noch die alten... Immer noch live genauso Geil wie früher... und das in der Originalbesetzung ? von wann war das noch gleich ?
Actually, John and Steven Duffy, if you read John's autobiography. Nick was too busy with a girl at the time to be that bothered. He got more interested later on.
@@samanthalewin4397 really bc John and nick was at the rum runner club and met Simon one day and they hired him with all his lyrics in a notebook so I may be wrong???
Duran Duran's live performances are poor. Watch the old grey whistle test from 81 and they were excellent. Simon does not take any care in singing and the RT does not use the correct sim sound. The synths and guitars are still excellent.
simons voice certainly has varied widely over the years, though now it's better than ever since he's actually worked with a vocal coach. As for Roger, he's changed his sounds around on purpose...always has.
Andy absolutely killing it on guitar 🎸
Agreed, this my favorite live version of this song because of Andy's guitar. The riff coming into the resumption of the vocal is just killer!
I notice the same thing
Totally agree! Saw them last night, the song is not the same without him! The fills, the solo.....
Seen them live last week. I'm 17 and I didn't see ANYONE else at all my age. More young people need to appreciate this band, they're awesome! So underrated!
My 3 kids are with you. They have seen DD live 6 times and love every #duranlive moment.
Andy Taylor and that awesome aggresive guitar sound
the best song they ever did... my all time favourite and I have been following them for nearly 30 years now. Still my favourite band.
Agree this and The Chauffeur 👌
OMG I like DIE every time I see this. The extra drum bass beat makes it perfect. And John Taylor??? Dear God. . . .
Yes, John is damn fantastic, isn't he? 👍

This was the most intense 4 minutes I've ever had at a concert when I saw them. Utterly fantastic!
Andy - come back and stay!
As much as I agree with you he won't.
Roger Taylor's steady and and tight rhythm is the heart of DDs great live performances. JT and RT are fantastic.
Duran duran gigantes do pop rock e New wave, fantastic. Ouço desde os 12 anos , tenho 48 anos , e amo duran duran.
Just a kickass song with a great driving riff.
This is on a list of things id do with a time machine, seeing the original line-up perform live.

truly underrated, really glad i got to see it live last year during the latest tour, now only have to hear "vertigo (do the demolition)" and I can die a happier person
Excellente version !!!
Still get goosebumps watching this version! The Maga anime is the perfect touch to this punk song from their first album....
A legendary song that will always prevail upon all their songs🎉

Cómo se notan la guitarra y batería con la formación original
I Agreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Anyone know who the guy is in the front row with the white tshirt on? He’s in a few DD videos.
ok. mal auf Deutsch... Immer noch die alten... Immer noch live genauso Geil wie früher... und das in der Originalbesetzung ? von wann war das noch gleich ?
@OMGitsRACHO Saw them live in Nottingham a few weeks ago, I'm 21.
Another great song before they put out so much cream puff crap. I could watch this over and over.
TRIVIA?? WHO WAS THE TWO FOUNDING MEMBERS OF Duran Duran ???
nick and John
Actually, John and Steven Duffy, if you read John's autobiography. Nick was too busy with a girl at the time to be that bothered. He got more interested later on.

Great song , but whats with the gruesome blood splattering amine in the back ground . Id much rather see the band .
We love Duran Duran's music that much that we formed a tribute band - Duran Durand - facebook.com/durandurandtribute/videos/1933096753592721/
you better. have. your. shight. together. waterboy
better with age
@cutandpaste1
This song is absolutely the one of the best. Reflex is shit song.

Andy has gotten better with age :) If that's possible.
Nick and Andy's sounds are sexy, edgy and dirty together. Phew I'm sweating....
Andy rocks!!

No. Sly & Robbie are just ONE that are better....
