I definitely need to check out the line for blondes! I have never tried this brand yet but I’ve heard lots of good things! Thanks for sharing all this info 🥰🩷
I have naturally grey hair, that is long and wavy/curly. I have experienced thinning, probably due to menopause. I live in a high humidity area, so fly aways & frizz are an issue. I only need to shampoo once a week and mostly let it air dry, but do blow dry it straight on occasion. I would really appreciate any recommendations for care and styling products. Thanks so much for the great videos!😊❤
Hi! I would say if frizz is your main concern, I’d go with the Discipline line or the Discipline Oleo line (I use oleo shampoo, mask and oil). If your hair is thinning due to menopause, you could also use the serum from the Genesis line. That helps with things like menopause, post pregnancy, Covid hair etc.
what would you recomend for reallyyy long hair with split ends but never dyed it.Also want shine an its oily.HELPP.Im thinking between discipline orgenesis bain hydra@@JeniferLarson
Wow so many lines. This was so helpful to sort through it all. Sounds like Discipline is right for me. :) And it really is all the French brands that get us, isn’t it? I can never pronounce them either and I even took French in high school. 😂
The line for men sounds so nice. A cooling sensation? I would like that, too haha I know I have tried this brand but for the life of me cannot remember what product it was. 🤔
I have found that using Kérastase is really effective and helps my hair stay healthy, soft, thick and shiny. Actually I had moved from a place that had a really bad black mold problem and probably a hard water problem too and it rendered most of my hair care products useless, but I think that if I give it another try, I will get better results than in the past. Also I appreciate your explanation of the different lines within the brand but I still do not really understand my own hair and need a recommendation as to which one to purchase. Maybe I should visit a stylist or do some research or detective work on my hair. I have coily/curly hair and I wear it in its natural state all the time. I’m trying to grow it out after the black mold and hard water issue that I left. It is improving on its own but needs a little boost and I am over 40. I do have some damage from mechanical manipulation and some heat damage but not severe enough to have to have a drastic haircut. It’s imperative that I find the right products to help keep my crowning glory on my head because I feel naked without any hair. Also. My hair is high porosity, high density, strand is medium in width and the texture is a toss up between cottony and silky depending on what products are used and how hydrated and moisturized my hair is. As of late, my hair has been doing better since moving to a new location that does not have any issues with black mold or hard water. Any issues can arise but i unknowingly was breathing in all those spores into my lungs and it was making me sick. But my hair is now on the mend and the problem is done now. If you can help me with any recommendations on a product line or a professional I would appreciate that. Thank you. Btw I’m in the Richmond area, VA area and there are not any Kérastase professional stylists in this area. So the next best option is Washington DC or Northern Virginia.
Hi! I’m so glad you found it helpful!! Thanks for sharing your hair journey with me. 🥰 I would say since you have coily hair, I would go with the Curl Manifesto line. This line is specifically designed for those with curly/ coily hair. It will give you the hydration your coils need without weighing them down. It will also help to enhance the curl and help keep its shape.
I recently ordered Première after loving a sample I got from Sephora. My water is pretty good but my daughter complains of her hair feeling crunchy & scalp build up. I got a travel size of the Men’s Genesis Homme as a clarifying shampoo to use in between. I really need something for thinning hair so that’s my next purchase.
The pre shampoo from premier will help remove your daughter’s hair better than the mens Genesis. As for thinning hair, I would try the Genesis serum! The serums are amazing and super lightweight. They absorb right in and don’t leave your hair greasy.
@@JeniferLarson The Genesis was awful, turned my hair to straw 😭 so I was afraid to have her use it. I’m gonna have hubs use the Genesis for whats left of his hair or maybe water it down in a bottle with a nozzle just to use as a scalp clarifier. I won’t be ordering that one again. I’m going to try the preshampoo sample they sent with my order on Saturday to see if that helps with her build up. She’s 15 with an oily scalp & fine hair that wants to curl. She loves the Drunk Elephant shampoo and hair mask but she needs to clarify more often with it.
This was so helpful! I do have one question left, I am planning on buying the Kerastase Densifique line but can I use the Elixir Ultime oil with this line? You said to keep to one line, but I don't see any oil for heat or shine in that line. I hope you will be able to reply to my question
Oh yes!! Sorry for the confusion.. I meant to say use the same shampoo and conditioner from the same line (at least that’s what they recommend). You can definitely use the styling products (like the Elixir Oil) with any line.
Thanks for sharing this useful video 🫶🏻, but i need ur advice, my hair is fuzzy and dry and a little bit split from the ends so which masque would fit my hair 🥹
Hey there, I was wondering which line to get and tossing up between The Kérastase Extentioniste-line and the nutritive line. Which one would you recommend? I have curly dry hair which I straighten most of the time.
Hi! Nutritive would be for dry hair and Extentioniste is if you’re trying to grow your hair longer. Since you have curly hair that you straighten all the time I would say go with the Discipline Oleo… that line is designed for those who wear their hair straight and gets rid of frizz. I actually use the Extentioniste serum and the Oleo line.
Hi dear, I've recently started using kerastase products, I would like to know if they have any products that can be used to stop grey hair, my hair is back however due the treatments I have done its now turning to grey.
I have coily afro textured hair and Therapiste is my favorite line HANDS DOWN! Honestly I feel like this line should've been marketed to afro hair types. The detangling and moisture/softening is out of this world! Chronologiste and the old Nutritive Magistral are my next favorites. I've yet to try Architect and Extentioniste but I need to. I heard Therapiste was only to be used temporarily then you jump to one of the other two lines. My least favorite line: Genesis. Breaks my hair off instantly.😢
I’m not a huge fan of the Genesis line either but I do love the Genesis serum. Therapiste is targeted towards really damaged hair so if your hair needs extra moisture I can see how it would leave your hair soft. I think they encourage you to switch to another line bc therapiste is designed to heal your hair and once it’s healed you won’t need to use it anymore. Chronologiste is sooo good! I love the fragrance!
Been using many shampoos, I also support Palestine. So I said no to all brands which supports zionism. However, when I try Kerastase Chroma Absolut, I can feel the differences in my hair which frequently dyed and keratin treatment. Shiseido Hair Care didn't help me at all, L'occitane Hair Care didn't either, and only Kerastase works !

Thank you so much! Am new to Keratase line! You did a fantastic job explaining the product lines! Have a wonderful week 😊
You are so sweet! 🫶🏼 Thank you so much!! If you have any specific questions feel free to let me know and I’ll help you as best as I can. 🥰
Kerastase is my favorite product. I agree these products have transformed my hair as well. I love it so much. ❤
What are some of your favorites?
I definitely need to check out the line for blondes! I have never tried this brand yet but I’ve heard lots of good things! Thanks for sharing all this info 🥰🩷
Your hair will feel so soft! Our clients love the blonde line bc it tones but doesn’t dry out the hair like a lot of other blonde lines.
I love this brand! They make some fabulous products! Thankyou for breaking everything down for us who don’t really understand it 😂❤
Same here!! I love product education 😂. I could teach all day if I could lol
it was awesome hearing about this. I recently got my hair cut but I already am missing the length!
That was me 🙈. Lesson learned with cutting my hair short 😂
I loved advice about the mask regarding how often you wash your hair. Never knew.
Love that! Glad you were able to learn something 🥰
Very educational video thank you for breaking it down for us!
So glad you found it helpful 🥰

Ooo there’s a curly line? I only straighten in the winter so I think it would be the best one to start with.
The curly line is AH-MAZING!! It makes the curls so defined and pretty with no frizz.

Can't wait to see your review of Extentioniste!! You keep mentioning it!!! 😂
It’ll be up in two weeks! I’ve started the editing for it. 🙌🏼

I love discipline! The Chroma probably is my favorite smell but they have so many good products!
The line for men sounds so nice. A cooling sensation? I would like that, too haha I know I have tried this brand but for the life of me cannot remember what product it was. 🤔
Haha I know! Some of the scalp serums have a cooling sensation and it feels so good!
This was so helpful. I have dry and damage hair
I’m so glad you found it helpful! Try targeting the damage before the dryness. Your hair may not be dry once it’s healthy again 🥰
Oh no…. Never mind… Extensioniste! That’s the one I want!! 👏 can’t wait to hear your experience!
Yes!! It’ll be up in 2 weeks

@ger0nimoproductions absolutely! If you have anymore questions I’m here 🥰
Can you suggest a line for my hair? (Asian hair, oily hair, straight, black, 100% natural). Thank you!
Hi! I would say if your hair is oily try the clay shampoo or the balancing shampoo from the Specifique line.
Thanks for sharing this useful video 🫶🏻, but i need ur advice, my hair is fuzzy and dry and a little bit split from the ends so which masque would fit my hair 🥹
I would say either the nutritive mask or the discipline mask (for frizz) depending on what you’d like to tackle. 🥰
Such detailed video, can you suggest which line will work me given i have oily scalp and thin hair?
Thank you! I would say either Densifique or Specifique.
Ugh i cannot decide which line to get., between thinning or hair changing @ 41.
I’d say try the chronologiste shampoo and mask first with the hair thinning serum.
@JeniferLarson thank u so much!!

Curl Manifesto is sulfate free as well.
Yes!! Your right! I always forget one 🙈
Thank you! 😊
Please suggest the line for Normal hair?
I would say Chroma if you have colored hair or if you have dry hair Nutritive is great.
Thank you Jenifer 😊
Of course! 🥰
Hi dear, I've recently started using kerastase products, I would like to know if they have any products that can be used to stop grey hair, my hair is back however due the treatments I have done its now turning to grey.
They really don’t have any products to slow down the graying process unfortunately. The brand Vegamor claims they do but I’ve never used them.
I have coily afro textured hair and Therapiste is my favorite line HANDS DOWN! Honestly I feel like this line should've been marketed to afro hair types. The detangling and moisture/softening is out of this world!

Bc my hair is naturally really frizzy. I like to wear my hair straight like you see. 🥰
Good educational, but you have to put the pictures longer
I’ll work on keeping them up longer. Thank you!
