Hi I c in a lot of ur videos u use the water fed pole and push,, when u use this method do u hav to squeeze the windows r will pur water just dry and lev no marks..(sory for poor spelling )
Hey bro I love the show me and my wife always watch!!! Do you know how I can get this set in the USA? I tried window cleaner resource they don't have unfortunately
I think the oval pole is the wrong way round, but the brush is excellent. I don’t think it’s quite right for roof cleaning though. 30ft will get you round most roofs if you are using a scaffold tower.👍🏼
Hi, im ordering the brushes now and wondering should i take those green ones or the grey ones ? i dont understand the driffrence from spliced and unspliced
Yes, I have fitted a uni-valve in mine which works great. It’s completely different to anything else out there really. Maybe I will have to do a comparison video?
Yeah, it’s smart. I’m hoping it will wear better than the Ova8. This 30ft is a bit heavy for every day domestic work, 1800g I think. I’m hoping to get a shorter version to use.😃👍🏼
So how does it compare to the Gardiner SLX pole and the Xline brush? Is it time to do a comparison video? AE Macintosh's "Top 3 carbon fibre poles" and "Top 3 waterfed pole brushes - with rinse bars & without rinse bars." It would make for fascinating viewing.😁👍
It has some great features, but in the end I found it quite heavy and bulky to use for long periods of time. Also I have found that round poles are actually far more rigid than any other shape. The phantom is actually a pretty good option, and it’s also compatible with accessories from other brands that do round poles.👍🏼
In your honest opinion, does this seem more complicated to use then the original nLite. Specifically when working at height with extensions. I can quickly add, or remove extensions with the original, this additional piece between the master and first extension looks a lot of messing around. Think unger have concentrated more on looks, then usability.
It’s much the same as the old nLite when it comes to adding sections. If anything it’s a bit easier because you don’t have to thread the hose through the section you are adding.👍🏼
@@aemackintosh Thanks, I did notice that. Been using the original for about 5 years or so, carbon fibre. Durability is good. I guess I need to go to my local retailer, and see, feel one of these poles close up. They do look impressive.
That connection looks fiddly trying to undo one handed at height, especially when it's been worn in, think I will stick with Reach-it's ultra high modulous and high modulous poles with simple clamps same style as ungers who copied their idea of modulous hybrid poles from Reach-it who innovated the idea. Can't beat radial lite brushes, more flow and a better overhead rinse pattern.
They have packed a lot of new features in to this new version, it’s a massive leap forward. I’m not normally a fan of a rinse bar but I’m actually getting on quite well with this one. Think I’m working more quickly.👍🏼
Very informative video. Like that you took the time to show assembly. Would love to have this. Looks like Unger has really done a good job with this.
They have certainly packed in a lot of features.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh We'll see how it works out over time. Keep us posted.
Nice description, is there an euro thread to fix the brush, please ? ( on another pole brand )
Yes it does have a euro thread so you can use it with a different pole.😃👍🏼
Could you use a twin connector and use the jets and rinse bar together
Sure, if you like, and if you have enough water.😃👍🏼
Great video Ash and well presented 👌
Thanks. I appreciate your comments.😃👍🏼
Looks fantastic and very hard wearing. Brilliant review Ashley! Ade 👍
Thanks.😃👍🏼
24K poles look very nice. It will be good to see how you get on long term with them.
It is great quality from Unger as usual.😎👍🏼
Hi I c in a lot of ur videos u use the water fed pole and push,, when u use this method do u hav to squeeze the windows r will pur water just dry and lev no marks..(sory for poor spelling )
You leave the pure water drips to dry to leave a spotless shine.😃👍🏼
wich brush would you recomend green or grey ? wich best to use on solar panels
Grey. The green bristles are flocked.
@@aemackintosh thanks
Ash I have just been looking at this pole, do you still think it is good? I live in Brisbane and there is not a lot of choice.
It certainly has a lot of great features. I don’t actually find the shape of the pole all that great.
Hi. Are there extension poles for the 6m 20ft unger nlite 24k or is it just for the 8.6m 28.5ft pole. Thanks
The extension sections are just for the bigger pole.👍🏼
Thanks. What is your go to pole?
Hey bro I love the show me and my wife always watch!!! Do you know how I can get this set in the USA? I tried window cleaner resource they don't have unfortunately
Thanks for your comments! And thanks for watching! I think the new nLite should be available in the USA very soon.😎👍🏼
Hi I am leaving in Melbourne Australia , could you tell me what is the price for the complete package that you are show us on the video
Thanks
I’m not sure. It’s probably best to check with your local supplier.😃👍🏼
What pole would you recommend for soft washing standard semi detached house roof? And dosage pump?
Yeah a pump system works great. WCW do a good pump box, Streamline have a great pump trolley, or GVS now have a couple of good options.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh ok thanks reply can you explain length required 30 feet ? I’ve read poor feed back on unger
I think the oval pole is the wrong way round, but the brush is excellent. I don’t think it’s quite right for roof cleaning though. 30ft will get you round most roofs if you are using a scaffold tower.👍🏼
Now that's a nice looking pole 👌
😎👍🏼
Ash, I'm getting a new brush at the show. What would you say is the best everyday brush that you have tried out?
This new nLite brush has the best bristles I have ever used. At the show you should also check out the xline stand.😉👍🏼
@@aemackintosh thanks, xline isn't there this year from what I've heard. I have the xline brush with rinse bar but the bar needs to be longer.
I’m not sure if they weren’t but now they are?🤷🏻♂️
Would the overhead rinse bar fit other makes of brush as it looks more sturdy than gardiner one
I haven’t tried it, but I think it probably would. You will just have to drill holes to fix it I think.😃👍🏼
Hi, im ordering the brushes now and wondering should i take those green ones or the grey ones ? i dont understand the driffrence from spliced and unspliced
The spliced/ flocked bristles are a bit softer.😃👍🏼
Hey Ashley what you think of it? Does it compare to the ov8 poles? Much of a different between this and Gardiner poles?
Completely different tools for different purposes I think.😃👍🏼
I really want this, how is it going with it
I find the actual pole a little tricky to get on with, but I love the brush, it’s possible the best I’ve ever used.😃👍🏼
Could you fit a univalve? How does it compare to the face-lift phantom pole?
Yes, I have fitted a uni-valve in mine which works great. It’s completely different to anything else out there really. Maybe I will have to do a comparison video?
Do you use vision or any other additive in your pure water?
I don’t.
Great review Ash. Nice looking pole. How dose the shape feel in the hand compared to the Ova8 and whats the weight of it Ash?
Yeah, it’s smart. I’m hoping it will wear better than the Ova8. This 30ft is a bit heavy for every day domestic work, 1800g I think. I’m hoping to get a shorter version to use.😃👍🏼
Nice neon sign
Youve convinced me Ashley, im going to purchase one. Is the carbon 24k 8.6m comfortable to use all day do you think?
No it’s not comfortable to use at all. After my initial excitement I ended up finding it quite heavy, bendy, and awkward really.😬Sorry.👎🏼
@@aemackintosh Really ? What pole have you returned to?
I’ve realised that oval poles just aren’t that great. Round ones are actually more rigid and last longer overall.
@A.E.Mackintosh Cleaning Services Thanks Ashley, appreciate your responses.
@@aemackintosh I forgot Ashley ! You'll no doubt be using your own Mackintosh poles?

Very nice.😎👍🏼
I'm so jealous. Can't wait to get one. Do you know if they will make an all boars hair brush?
The bristles are different to most other brushes anywhere. I think you will find it more effective than boars hair.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh thank you!
Whats the shortest pole they do in this range?
They do a 6m, 4section version of the one in this video or the composite/hybrid version goes down to a 1.6m version.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh do u knownthe weight of the 6m one?
I’m not sure. I would say it’s a little heavier than average I suppose, but they have packed in a lot of great features.😃👍🏼

where is it for sale
It should be available from all the usual good window cleaning suppliers.😃👍🏼

Sounds like a good combo. This nLite packs in a lot of new features.😃👍🏼

It’s a 30ft pole, there is a bit of weight to it.👍🏼

Hello
Unger hi mod is perfect for high level commercial work ... no good for residential...😜
I use the Ultra HM for residential work with no problems at all
This is a 30ft pole, so yeah, a bit much for low level domestic work really.👍🏼
Oval pole no not for me been there before
This is a totally different type of oval. Rather than two flat sides , this is more egg shaped. I t will be interesting to see how it wears.😃👍🏼
Sexy looking pole I’ll be scared to use incase I marked it

don't look good as the old version
This is a massive leap forward from the old nLite, which was getting quite dated.
I won’t be upgrading looks too much hassle to add the sections in compared to the old one.
