Very rare to find footage of Estelle Bennett following the splittting up of the Ronnettes. Estelle was a very interesting woman, with a really depressing story. She dated George Harrison and Mick Jagger in the early 60s, but by 80s/90s, she was homeless in NYC, and had been diagnosed schizophrenic.
tell me something, how long was estelle benett homeless, no one on the street recognized her ??? and because no one was with her in the apartment before she was found dead, you know let me know ???
She was anorexic as well
I, too, came here for Estelle - I developed a schoolboy crush for her when, for the first time, I saw a photo of The Ronettes - I have never lost it!

Mulling this over last night, I realised that Estelle always looked happy and smiling with The Ronettes; that's not the case here.
So true. She looks so sad here.😭Even on a couple photos I saw on Facebook of them taken supposedly 1966/67 short before they disbanded, I read sadness on her face. Poor estelle, she never wanted the ronettes to end.❤❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤

As someone with a similar hair texture, it seems like her hair is blow dried. I’m pretty sure it’s naturally curly tho. You can see the little curls sticking up too
@@farahtheegreat1605 yaap, was thinking it may have been natural. Because I’ve seen pics of estelle and Ronnie as toddlers and again as little girls and in both these pics they BOTH had this exact hair. How much they would have styled them!;)

Hi - Ann Tripp and Laura 'Tequila ' Green were session singers and you'll spot their names in the B K singers and Larry Young's 'Fuel' Check out Larry Youngs track on Fuel 'Turn off the lights'. It features a fantastic lead from Laura Green. She worked solidly throughout the 70s. Cookie Woodson cut a couple of 45s. I recall 'I can't hear you'. Both tracks and more are on here.
