    My old neighbor is a Navy SEAL and he said the best knife , and his favorite knife was a WINKLER belt knife . Well I got one and I have had it for years and nobody can change my mind that WINKLER does a magical heat treat . That blade gets so dangerously sharp I love it. The sharpness lasts pretty good . It is my favorite blade I EDC it and really use it
    Thank you WINKLER

    In the background we see the famous Casting Couch. 😬👍
    Winkler knives are world class. I have 6 of them. As EDC I mostly use my Blue Ridge Hunter. Good video - thanks

    A great review. No doubt Winkler Knives are the top of the line. I personally own a couple of them. They are some of my most prized knives. Also, take a look at Toor Knives and Half Face Blades. They too are top of the line. I also like Tops Knives and Benchmade Knives. While these knives cost less, they are most excellent factory made knives, where Winkler Knives are custom made. I've recently purchased Cunningham Knives, made in North Carolina. They are custom made and are exceptional. How many knives does a person need? As many as you can afford! LOL 😂 I enjoy Bushcraft, Hiking and Backpacking. If I could only take one tool with me in the woods, it would be my Winkler Knife. With my knife, I can make everything else that I need to survive. (Well almost!)

    I’m intrigued by the Winkler contingency but there isn’t a lot of info out there about it. Can you do a short video on this model to talk about carry and deployment methods, design use?

    How reliable are wood knife grips, Are they durable enough to handle many drops?

    • @barrettfrancis1827
      @barrettfrancis1827 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well wood has been used on knife handles since the dawn of time. But in all reality you just gotta know how to take care of the knife to preserve it

      The Winklers are more like pry bars, they are ridiculously thick behind the edge. Knives are meant to cut.

      I mean, he may not be the best speaker in the world but it’s hard to argue against winkler blades. They’re top notch. Ask anyone who’s profession requires a hard use fixed blade or anyone who’s ever carried one, or better yet try one yourself.
