I can't help but figure the success of the lyrics. I don't care what others may say about the genre of POTF's music, but Carnival of Rust and Children of the Sun are especially poetic. It's good to see people who are attracted by this music.

In fact, that's how the album should have sounded. Not as compressed as it unfortunately does. Still the songs themselves are great as ever, and their gig in Mannheim was absolutely killing it.
Jojo never haave live versions been so much better than album versions..... they somehow surpassed album version of CoR and Daze as well in these sessions

The problem with Clearview is that they had a dog-shit producer. If they had anyone else, it would have sounded very similar to this and the live version of Once Upon A Playground Rainy. Fortunately, they didn't make the same mistake on Ultraviolet.

No matter the medium, this song is fantastic! Only fitting for a band like the Poets to have something so wonderful in their vast library.
Again better than the studio version, there was something off with that album, the balance was all wrong and some really weird choices for effects.
Stefan Bowman was a mistake.
Completely agree. there are some great songs on there but there is SO much damn compression it makes them almost unlistenable.
