Looks like stripped chopped triumph herald. Don't envy the work ahead. All the best fella.

@@MrMaxidc Cheers, lots to do but once the shell is solid again then I can start going over the mechanicals and male some progress. It's not a quick job but won't be a concours restoration but a good ressurection and paint.

Great video again Mick. I think a new welder is required. Good luck.

Lots of little repairs, not bad for such an old car. The wax worked well where it was on the panels! In comparison to BL cars of the time which needed wending on their first MOT, it's pretty good!

I recommend that you remove the roof panel. Bend the edge and peel off the panel. Judging by the condition of the car from below under the panels, it is rotten on top as well. It’s good that you have a sedan and not a station wagon, otherwise there would be even more body problems.

@@daniilvolynskiy2554 Hi yes I was planning to remove the roof but then saw how it's connected. I had a look inside the top channel and down the fro t and rear pillars with an inspection camera, slight surface rust in ther but nothing crispy at all.. Dry and dusty in there. Where I can get my fingers in the gap and press down on the top if the frame it's all solid..

stick a reliant 850cc engine and gearbox in her to keep up with modern traffic it would be perfect that car. good acceleration 80 / 90 mph very fuel efficient easy to work on almost bullet proof. makes good sence

Would be a bit awkward these are front wheel drive.. Being an older one I'm keeping this standard.. I have modified a couple of my old eastern bloc cars

@@Mickhanic-garage it cant be that hard make a tunnel and use a rear axle off a reliant thats how most trikes are made i mean a bit of extra fabrication would be needed like Mounting points( engine gearbox suspension ) and extra braces to allow for a drive shaft to travel through the chassis frame. But yeah it would be extra work
