Toytec is not a very good manufacturer. But everyone wants Chika. 🙂

Another reason why her hair looks really weird is because her bangs look oddly thick though the length of her bangs seem fine

I hate the way Toytec did Love is War nendoroids :/ since is such a popular series i think they deserved better, i've seen people who received their Chika's nendoroid with face paint so bad and transfered. I hope in a future we get a re release but made by GSC, at this point i'm not surprised that Kaguya, Shirogane and even Chika get delayed so many times
And the worst at least for me is that Toytec is going to make nendoroids of Fruits Basket, one anime i really love. And since they did a terrible job with this nendoroids i'm scared what they are going to do

Same here, I have been hoping for Fruits Basket nendoroids for a while and now I find out they are in development, but by toytec and hearing how bad toytec is, I’m worried and disappointed.

She definitely looks like a bootleg. My friend has her and goodsmile told her those are "features" and asked for her understanding. Her Chika also has defects on the skirt. That's unfortunate GSC won't help her.

I actually have no idea...But looking at their past record they've actually only released around 4 nendoroids in total (with their 5th one coming out in July) so that would sort of explain their inexperience in manufacturing.
oh no, one of my favorite anime (fruits basket) is getting nendos and they got handed off to toytec. i hate this 🥲

Awww she’s so adorable. Those things would bug me too, although I still wish I had her. Toytec seems as bad as FineфClover... that was a big disappointment I had with Yuuri and her hair was similarly badly designed and actually did not fit together properly
she looked so good on the promotional pictures too :( luckily i cancelled my preorder before she released but i would've been so disappointed

can u explain a bit about the diff of nendos from goodsmile and toytec im a bit confused here hahahahah🥺
ToyTec is the company in charge of manufacturing and sculpting of this nendoroid while GoodSmile is the one doing the distribution. Normally, GoodSmile will do their own thing in-house, but they may outsource the work to other companies sometimes.
If you look at the top right corner of the Nendoroid boxes you can tell who it's done by if not in-house by GoodSmile.

These Love is War nendos from toytec are awful. What a letdown.
I ordered mine from sure thing toys but they haven’t shipped yet I’m a bit worried
If it’s an American vendor I wouldn’t be too worried because their shipments probably haven’t arrived yet
