@@japsniper1980 Yes you can. Taxi drivers are not professional drivers. They merely drive for a living, they pass no additional testing beyond a standard car test and do not require an additional licence category.
No, that honour has to go to those HGV drivers who complain about cars pulling in front of them on the motorway and not leaving them enough stopping distance. They prevent that from happening again by driving 10-20 feet from the HGV in front of them. Hypocrites.
I've always maintained you should need a separate test and licence category to drive a taxi. Simply being "licensed" by a local authority isn't good enough. Taxis should also be black-boxed and audited by the authorities at random - if they are seeing you doing 40 in a 20 on the wrong side of the road or parking across a driveway, you get yeeted. It's so simple. In an area I used to live in, I was harrassed on the road three times by the same cab driver who acted a total cnut every time. I was in different vehicles on each occasion therefore he couldn't have known it was me from behind while speeding and tailgating etc., so it must be a habitual thing on his part. If I'd had a camera back then I wouldn't have hesitated to send the footage into the council because he was clearly at it regularly.
@@BrianGriffinQuahog Minicabs and pre-booked private hire don't even constitute 'public transport', so shouldn't be allowed in bus lanes etc. It's just a car you're paying someone else to drive.
It's people like Paul B who really get my goat up on the highway. Not just lethal but if he'd simply kept going both himself and the other vehicles would have gone past that junction and allowed the waiting vehicle out sooner and safer.
Some of the hints about why are in that clip about the two morons huffing nitrous oxide while driving. Drug use behind the wheel has been increasing a lot as penalties imposed become weaker and weaker.
I don't condone what the driver did, but the drivers that did pass on the junction should be asking themselves why has this vehicle stopped and is there danger if I decide to overtake?
3:10 The car did not have a clear view because of all the parked cars. An experienced driver would be expecting something like this to happen. Also you could clearly see the car was pulling out but they didnt brake until 3 seconds later when they almost ran into the back of it and proceeded to tailgate causing the taxi to brake check them. Cammer in the wrong here.
Cammer should have just accepted that the Toyota was committed and simply backed off a bit. Other drivers will break the rules or make a simple mistake, so sometimes you just have to accept it and behave yourself.
Maybe cammer should have used the force to predict it would be a MF'ing taxi, who then proceeded to brake-check when he was _still_ wrong to blindly pull out anyway.
@@timmason7430 I get you, the taxi was wrong to just pull out, maybe edge forwards until you can see around the parked cars but the cammer read the road ahead very poorly here and also didn't react till the last moment.
Borat, how does tailgating (momentarily in this case) “cause” brake checking? I’ve had occasions when someone has been following me too closely and my brakes don’t automatically apply. Is this a feature on some cars?

Paul B while I get you were trying to help you actually did the opposite traffic is moving too fast on that road to do what you did. You ended up putting other road users (and yourself) at risk.
Jackson at 0:22, whenever you’re following a load so closely like that you’ve got to figure that when one of those pieces of lumber goes end-over-end and out of the truck, where’s it going to land? -right on the front of your car. Yeah - just like that.
For starters, indicating to move into another lane DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO MOVE. Second, engaged warp speed???? The camera zoomed out you tit, of course it looks faster.
@@roadjesus9772 I’m aware cars cannot actually engage warp speed my friend, it was just a silly little joke. I’m also aware that indicating doesn’t mean you can just pull out, hence me acknowledging that the van was ‘a bit dumb.’ Nevertheless the van began to come over and the cammer chose that moment to put their foot down and perform a dangerous overtake and nearly cause a serious accident, which is why I made my nomination for TOTW. I promise in future that I will thoroughly explain what I mean to avoid upsetting your delicate sensibilities.
People cut across from right to left all the time time. Those in the correct NEED to stop letting people cut across. It is not for you to rectify the poor lane choices of others, if theyre in the wrong lane then they stay in wrong lane.
That turning is a joke I moved recently to the area and it isn't clear enough approaching the right turn. I was in the far right then it changes to the left. Would be better if it shows which lane to use as it's always busy there. I did the same but was able to correctly merge.
If we all just obeyed the rules of the road, we wouldn’t need to have videos like this. Stick to the rules and we all live to see another day with our loved ones… 🥰😊
4:16 The dashcam is equally to blame for not stopping. No one has right of way and the dashcammer made the situation worse by continuting on a tightening lane. They should have held back or at least stop.
Where were they supposed to stop? There is a driveway on the right where the pick up could have pulled in. Both drivers going a little quick for the situation, both drivers appear to have a great view of the road ahead.
@@EinkOLED you can see the cammer slowed and moved into the verge, don't know about you, but I can sound the horn on my car and brake or accelerate as the situation dictates. I guess what I'm trying to say is, both cars could clearly see each other, one of the cars had a passing zone but didn't stop, the road isn't wide enough for two vehicles. Neither driver did what they should have.
I don't know. Anyone who sends in a video of themselves doing something that silly with nobody else involved might be just doing it as a personal redemption thing

Paul B causing an obstruction to traffic even though he was being nice for the lorry driver
What was he thinking? He was the hazard not the van/truck
@@Justjayafc He wasn't.
Thinking, that is.
Taxi drivers are the most unprofessional of professional drivers.
Can't argue with that statement.

The last clip deserves to be in a comedy sketch, reminds me of a scene in the Ali G movie 🤣🤣
It's people like Paul B who really get my goat up on the highway. Not just lethal but if he'd simply kept going both himself and the other vehicles would have gone past that junction and allowed the waiting vehicle out sooner and safer.
Corey G: spots danger. Accelerates towards it.
7:00 when you have an itch that just needs to be scratched.
Very worrying seeing more and more drivers driving the wrong way around roundabouts and dual carriageways.
Some of the hints about why are in that clip about the two morons huffing nitrous oxide while driving. Drug use behind the wheel has been increasing a lot as penalties imposed become weaker and weaker.
It's mostly foreign drivers who do that. Since Britain is one of the only European countries which drives on the left. They aren't used to it
@@catguy4996 no, it's mostly confused old BRITISH people with dementia who shouldn't be driving, but funny how you jumped to blaming the foreigners

Paul b, your the 1 that causes the accidents. Never stop in the middle of your lane to let some 1 out. Fool.
@@MetalFan10101 It's just a pity that there is a growing number of idiots with licences on the road these days.

Borat, how does tailgating (momentarily in this case) “cause” brake checking? I’ve had occasions when someone has been following me too closely and my brakes don’t automatically apply. Is this a feature on some cars?
I was going to say, none of the cammers seem to be COTW this week, but then Zoe S and Corey G came along.
Zoe s didn’t do anything wrong, though I would’ve let the van out, but she doesn’t have to and the van driver is totally in the wrong. Induction means I would like to change lanes , not I’m doing into your lane whether you like it or not

@@roadjesus9772 I’m aware cars cannot actually engage warp speed my friend, it was just a silly little joke. Corey G COTW for me, knew exactly what was happening just drives at the situation. I've seen many accidents at that same spot
@@MrR03ert And the yet all the dashcammer did was sound their horn whilst contunuing forward. They should have braked.
Cars on the inside has priority.
