  • Here are three essential tips to guide your training process and avoid common pitfalls:
👉 Feed from Your Hand, Not the Bowl: Enhance communication and movement with your dog by hand-feeding rather than using a food bowl. This method fosters a stronger bond and teaches patience and focus.
👉 Play with the Ball, Don't Use It for Training (yet): Use toys like balls to build drive and energy through play, not as teaching tools. Focus on building intensity and energy for training without overwhelming your puppy.
👉 Quality Over Quantity in Training: Avoid over-training. Short, focused sessions of about five minutes twice a day can be more effective than hours of training. It's the quality and technique of the work that counts.

I love your style. Have been thinking of joining your courses since I have a working line gsd that just turned 6 mos old and very high drive, but I honestly don't think I can do the moves you do. I am older but I am a very healthy person and active. And It takes a a lot of coronation to do what you do. maybe I am just afraid of being a failure.
