I’m 16 years old, I first got my 2 bunnies as a Valentine’s Day gift from my parents. I finally brought home my 2 babies around may of 2016, and I was stumped on what to do. As a struck of luck, you had posted your first video for me to find, and I learned so much from you. My bunnies Coco, and Valentine, are still living their best lives free roaming in my sitting room. They have their own beds, and rug to flop on. They have traveled from the fanciest NYC hotels, to the white sandy beaches of the Jersey Shore! I hope this motivates you to continue making videos, because if it weren’t for you, I don’t know where my rabbits would be right now. Thank you so much!
Tayden thank you for taking the time to learn rabbit care. People get rabbits for their kids for an Easter gift, or any other holiday gift, but truth is, the research has to be done before people have rabbits. And I thank you for following this channel. It is very important to notice the signs when something is wrong with a bun. They do not show they are having problems until the last minute and you have to know how to pick up on those signs.

My rabbit looks like Lennon. He has a white left foot and leg. The white fur extends to his left shoulder. Lennon's has a white foot and leg. They are opposites, but the same. I love him and I love your channel. I have learned so much by watching it. Thank you for all the information.

I love your videos! Although there's one misinformation you gave. The polish rabbit is not a dwarf. That's what makes it more "special". Dwarf rabbits have a specific gene. Which the Polish doesn't have. It's just a regular small rabbit.
I actually have a white blue eyed mini lop && I have another lop that’s grey that looks like a holland lop that’s what I thought he was for the longest time til I realized my bunny is pretty large Holland lips don’t get that big
Hi Lorelei I need help with something and you are the perfect person to ask, me and my family are moving form California to New Mexico and we will be driving 16 hours with 4 bunnies what are some tips that will help and not have them scared because I worry that they will be scared.
I drove cross country with my two bunnies and they were fine. I played “rabbit relaxation” music for them the whole way and I swear it helped. You can get it fee on TH-cam. I also didn’t stay on the road for more than 6 hours at a time to give them a break from the motion.

Great video. When I adopted my rabbit, the shelter labeled him as a flemish giant, but also said his 4 sisters used to steal his food. He looks exactly like the flemish you showed in the lower left. When I went to the shelter to get him, his sisters were twice his size, they were all white, he is chestnut. My boy is 2 now, 10 lbs. I think he may be a runt. When I told my vet he is a flemish, she raised an eyebrow, thinking maybe no, haha. I still maintain that he is, and I love him SO MUCH, even though I didn't get a true giant :)
I have a Flemish giant male 🥰 he was black when he was a baby but he’s gotten more and more chocolate. It’s common for “breeders” to breed Flemish giants w New Zealands so maybe that’s why yours is smaller
Someone dumped a blue Netherland dwarf in my friend's yard. I gave her the whole, "if no one wants the rabbit then I'll take it." It was the best decision I ever made. Asher changed my life. Thank Lorelai & Lennon for teaching me so much about rabbit care. 🥰
I had the COOLEST Netherland Dwarf 25 years ago. He was like a tiny dog! He looks like a little miniature tuxedo cat almost. Loves riding in the car, listening to music, going for walks with his vest and leash, and would try to sneak sips of my wine if I left the room. He also had a thing for Triscuits
When I’ve read American literature, It looks like I have a cinnamon. But here in the UK that breed isn’t recognised. So on her paperwork she’s labeled “medium mixed breed” but I’ve made my own breed up “Seeded brown loaf” breed😂😁

My pair are Chinchilla standards, named Timber and Pit. When I was a child my family had a polish dwarf (midnight), blue Dutch (Peter), a brown Rex (Brownie), and a mini Rex with English spot markings (Patches). What’s spooky is Timber and Pit are so eerily similar to Brownie and Patches (who passed away around the time Timber and Pit would have been born). Their dynamics with each other and me are so similar that after adopting them, I almost wondered if I was given another chance. Most likely a coincidence but it’s touching.

This is so cool, both of my little guys are both on the small side, my 5 year old guy is a Netherland with deep blue eyes and white fur with brown fur markings. I remember doing a lot of research when he first came home and I stumbled across your channel in 2016/2017 since then i feel that i have learned so much and come to realize that there really is no end to how much you can learn about your rabbits. My other lil guy seems to be a lion head mix breed because he's got a bit of a lions mane just at the ears both of them have big personalities and its interesting to see the difference in their coats
This was so fascinating! I am thinking my bun is a Vienna gene carrier. I thought she was a Dutch/Lionhead mix but she has blue eyes. She is tortoiseshell colored with the white blaze (Dutch markings), with the lion head long fur and blue eyes.
Dutch is both a breed and the name of a color pattern. Vienna gene causes blue eyes and can cause the rabbit to have Dutch pattern markings. Your rabbit is likely just a Vienna marked lionhead. 😊

Me too!! Mines is white and super fluffy with blue eyes and they change color at night!/dark times!! My bunny had babies!!! and with blue eyes are super super rare!! The bunny that they had the babies with had to have blue eyes!
My bun is a Dutch breed with perfect Dutch markings but she does have beautiful blue eyes. I know that that is not allowed for the breeder show rabbits of the Dutch breed but it does happen from time to time from what I understand. This may be how she found herself given to an animal hoarder since her blue eyes disqualified her as a show rabbit. She was rescued from the animal hoarder and I adopted her. She must have been neglected because all she was interested in was love and attention when I got her... even more than food. I don't think she was abused... just locked away and neglected... as she seemed to like humans and is very affectionate. Now she is free roam in the house and spoiled rotten with all the love and attention she could want.
this is a very interesting video! when i first got my bun, i thought he was a Holland lop, but he is definitely an American fuzzy lop. i rescued him from a farm store. his fur is so hard to manage though.
One of my bunnies, Echo, red eyes, he’s under 3 pounds, and his fur is white and short except he has a bunch of long fur on the top of his head. I’m not sure if he’s like a lion head mix maybe but I bought him as a Netherland dwarf. He doesn’t have small ears though

i've got a holland lop and a mini rex lionhead mix. the cross is my newest baby, not even had him for 2 weeks yet. they're both so gorgeous and i can't help how excited i get whenever i see their cute faces... bearing in mind i've had my holland lop since the beginning of may last year and still do this with him
Honestly I still don't quite know my rabbit's breed😂 at first I thought he was a Harlequin and Dutch mix, but his fur is so colourful with all kinds of uneven different markings which make this even more confusing🤣🤣 after I watched this video I'm even more confused. He has so extremely unique markings, shapes, colours, and spots honesty I think he is a mix of a lot more 😅😝😝 can anyone help me out😅🤗
We had a rabbit baby boom when we took 1 in 3 years ago and after surrendering the majority of them to the ASPCA we kept around 20 of them. Most of mine are dwarfs, 1 lop eared and the rest have mostly white and are a little bigger than our dwarfs. Edit: 1 of them is a rex chinchilla and her name is Goober
We’re not quiet sure what our boy in yet. His name is Lucky Clover 🍀. He’s growing so fast, our big boy💕💕He’s a type of Lop with fluffy/silky hair. And he looks a lot like Lennon💖

I saved my rabbit from being left out in the wild. Someone must've abandoned cause she was no more than 6 months old. After not being claimed by anyone we decided to keep her! Named her Bandit, got her spayed and a checkup now she lives a happy free roam life 😀 thanks to your video I was able to confirm that she is a dwarf lionhead! Thought she was an angora this whole time 😆 great video!

@@GoRose I think that would really depend on how energetic your 2-year-old is... I might want to wait on adopting a senior rabbit just because they are a lot more fragile than younger rabbits. On the other hand... If you teach your two-year-old that the rabbit is NOT a toy and/or keep the rabbits pen in a separate room, I don't think it would be a problem.
My baby is a vienna gene carrier. First I thought that he is a dutch - Newzealand white mix, but then I came to know about this Vv gene from one of my friends and now it's confirmed. And his name is... Shirzo 👏👏👏👏.
My Sophie is easy. She is clearly a Holland lop. My Lulu looks exactly like a Havana, but he’s 7 pounds. My Ozzy (may he rest In peace) was a lionhead, but his ears were very netherland dwarf. ☺️

Our bunny was sold as "Yellow dwarf rex", but I think her furs pattern resembles harlequin. She is small (3.3 lb), has pointy ears and a colorful fur (white, red, a little bit of black too) with a beautiful sheen. Thank you for the content you make! Hercules in my picture was a dwarf lionhead mix 2 pounds 4 ounces of sass. Lavender the humane society though was a NZ but is about 3 pounds too small so most likely a Florida White mix.
The American fuzzy lop is my dream bunny breed. I'm hoping to get a bunny like an American fuzzy lop because my bunny died while I was on holidays. He was only one when he died and I have been crying a lot. He died because of a poisonous spider.
Could you make a video explaining how to clean your rabbit? I know that rabbits should not be bathed because they clean themselves but my rabbit sits in her litter box ALL day so her feet are stained yellow. Any tips on how to clean them?

I have 2 baby english spot bunnies one of them is mine she's a white black spotted bunny her name is Dottie,my sisters rabbit is smaller you can see in comparison but they are practically the same size my sisters rabbit is white with tan spots and my sister named her toast.

Love seeing all the different kinds of bunnies, it’s so interesting!! My bun Morrison’s breed is pretty obvious - he’s a lionhead for sure, he’s so fluffy haha

Me too!! Mines is white and super fluffy with blue eyes and they change color at night!/dark times!! My bunny had babies!!! and with blue eyes are super super rare!! The bunny that they had the babies with had to have blue eyes!
My bun is a Dutch breed with perfect Dutch markings but she does have beautiful blue eyes. I know that that is not allowed for the breeder show rabbits of the Dutch breed but it does happen from time to time from what I understand. This may be how she found herself given to an animal hoarder since her blue eyes disqualified her as a show rabbit. She was rescued from the animal hoarder and I adopted her. She must have been neglected because all she was interested in was love and attention when I got her... even more than food. I don't think she was abused... just locked away and neglected... as she seemed to like humans and is very affectionate. Now she is free roam in the house and spoiled rotten with all the love and attention she could want.
this is a very interesting video! when i first got my bun, i thought he was a Holland lop, but he is definitely an American fuzzy lop. i rescued him from a farm store. his fur is so hard to manage though.
One of my bunnies, Echo, red eyes, he’s under 3 pounds, and his fur is white and short except he has a bunch of long fur on the top of his head. I’m not sure if he’s like a lion head mix maybe but I bought him as a Netherland dwarf. He doesn’t have small ears though

i've got a holland lop and a mini rex lionhead mix. the cross is my newest baby, not even had him for 2 weeks yet. they're both so gorgeous and i can't help how excited i get whenever i see their cute faces... bearing in mind i've had my holland lop since the beginning of may last year and still do this with him
Honestly I still don't quite know my rabbit's breed😂 at first I thought he was a Harlequin and Dutch mix, but his fur is so colourful with all kinds of uneven different markings which make this even more confusing🤣🤣 after I watched this video I'm even more confused. He has so extremely unique markings, shapes, colours, and spots honesty I think he is a mix of a lot more 😅😝😝 can anyone help me out😅🤗
We had a rabbit baby boom when we took 1 in 3 years ago and after surrendering the majority of them to the ASPCA we kept around 20 of them. Most of mine are dwarfs, 1 lop eared and the rest have mostly white and are a little bigger than our dwarfs.

We’re not quiet sure what our boy in yet. His name is Lucky Clover 🍀. He’s growing so fast, our big boy💕💕He’s a type of Lop with fluffy/silky hair. And he looks a lot like Lennon💖

I saved my rabbit from being left out in the wild. Someone must've abandoned cause she was no more than 6 months old. After not being claimed by anyone we decided to keep her! Named her Bandit, got her spayed and a checkup now she lives a happy free roam life 😀 thanks to your video I was able to confirm that she is a dwarf lionhead! Thought she was an angora this whole time 😆 great video!

My rabbit is also named Bandit LOL! We rescued her from being fed to a snake! She's also a mix of a dwarf lionhead and a hotot!

@@leahnyberg6429 I'm seeing so many posts I need to comment on. Thank you for saving your bun. I wish I could save every rabbit. But we are doing this one at a time. I have a 2 year old, have been thinking of adopting a senior, just not sure if he would be too energetic for he or her.
@@GoRose I think that would really depend on how energetic your 2-year-old is... I might want to wait on adopting a senior rabbit just because they are a lot more fragile than younger rabbits. On the other hand... If you teach your two-year-old that the rabbit is NOT a toy and/or keep the rabbits pen in a separate room, I don't think it would be a problem.
My baby is a vienna gene carrier. First I thought that he is a dutch - Newzealand white mix, but then I came to know about this Vv gene from one of my friends and now it's confirmed. And his name is... Shirzo 👏👏👏👏.
My Sophie is easy. She is clearly a Holland lop. My Lulu looks exactly like a Havana, but he’s 7 pounds. My Ozzy (may he rest In peace) was a lionhead, but his ears were very netherland dwarf. ☺️
Hi I got my rabbit last week and I got told that he was an English Spot Rabbit but then I found out he is a silver fox and I don't know how as they are very rare were I live so I think I was just lucky but thank you for helping and I love your videos
Our bunny was sold as "Yellow dwarf rex", but I think her furs pattern resembles harlequin. She is small (3.3 lb), has pointy ears and a colorful fur (white, red, a little bit of black too) with a beautiful sheen. Thank you for the content you make! It was the main resource for us when we were thinking if the bunny is the right pet choice! 🥰 And it surely was!😊

Hercules in my picture was a dwarf lionhead mix 2 pounds 4 ounces of sass. Lavender the humane society though was a NZ but is about 3 pounds too small so most likely a Florida White mix.
The American fuzzy lop is my dream bunny breed. I'm hoping to get a bunny like an American fuzzy lop because my bunny died while I was on holidays. He was only one when he died and I have been crying a lot. He died because of a poisonous spider.

Could you make a video explaining how to clean your rabbit? I know that rabbits should not be bathed because they clean themselves but my rabbit sits in her litter box ALL day so her feet are stained yellow. Any tips on how to clean them?

My 2 buns were supposed to be pure bred lionheads, but suddenly one of them had their ears fall down and 2 years later they're still that way. Preeettyyy sure they aren't "pure bred"

I think my rabbits mix is a Checkered giant and lion head I’m not sure if she really is a mix but she looks like one.
The title is very misleading. This video had nothing to do with rabbits being affectionate.
I have 2 baby english spot bunnies one of them is mine she's a white black spotted bunny her name is Dottie,my sisters rabbit is smaller you can see in comparison but they are practically the same size my sisters rabbit is white with tan spots and my sister named her toast.

In my experience I'd go with a lionhead, dutch, polish, or Himalayan. Or for larger a flemish. They're like dogs
