I have to say I had a friend 2 years ago that was really bad with drugs and Brandon’s documentary really got through to her. I DMed him and explained that if he reached out it would mean the world. He not only reached out, he called her personally and pulled strings to get her into his treatment center in Philly. He will always have a ton of respect from me for doing all of that.

@@maxsilbert I don't have any evidence for this particular thing, but it happens alot. People in Florida and Cali think as well, get paid for every person they can get into and through the program. I'm not sure on specifics, like if they need to complete the program or what, but I remember watching a documentary/interview of a dude that was doing that, making shit tons of money, just contacting people from his home town and promising them a cut of the money and that they can just get through the program and go back to using afterwards with a nice stack of cash. In that interview in particular, the guy stopped doing it after one of the guys he got out there OD while at a hotel he got for him, I forget what exactly happened, but it was directly the guys fault, so it fucked with him and got him to stop doing it. Probably has something to do with government funding and the more people they get into the program, the more money the program makes, so they give people a cut if their able to get a bunch of people into it, even if they don't want to get clean, just someone to take up a spot so they can receive more money.

He's got a lot more going on mentally than just drugs and alcohol, if he doesn't fix those things first he wont quit getting loaded and he acts like everyone around him are the problem and the reason hes gone crazy. I unfortunately don't see him getting sober, he doesn't want it and he doesn't care for himself or those around him... if his own child can't get him to man up and get help, nothing will... I know he misses Dunn but these days he uses that as an excuse for all his negative behavior, that, or knoxville/Tremaine. He's just not as mentally strong as Steve-O in multiple ways. Most drug addicts don't have drug problems, they have life problems. And they use drugs because of the issues in their life. Bam's one of those people. He lived a wild and fast younger life and he's clearly struggling with getting older and settling down, which I know a lot of people do when they hit 40. And until he fixes those issues, he won't get sober.

Approaching 3yrs clean and it's so inspiring to see two of the people I loved to watch growing up sitting there clean and sober. Thank you both for all your integrity to push forward no matter the statistics. On June 19th at 7:42pm is my goal to return every year to my overdose spot and go through everything that I was told and remember. I will be on fb live on June 19th at 7pm. If your still suffering reach out there is NO shame in asking for help. Many open arms are waiting for you.

Always been a Novak fan. Never thought he would get sober. I'm so proud and happy for him.
