That is an assumption of something you do not know to be true, making a guess at best to appear as if you actually know what you are talking about rather than being sincere with yourself that you do not know that to be true.
I am not saying this intending for it to be taken as a personal attack upon you because of your comment. It is OK that you said that, but I am just here to point out how you are only fooling yourself with your own thoughts as if they were reality when they obviously are not known to be a reality to you. You already know that you do not that despite you had to overlook that you don't that to be true in order to make sound as if you did know. In that insincere seriousness there is only fear, but no reality to it as it solely imagined and the reality overlooked and dismissed as if worthless in favor of reinforcing a fear that isn't really known to be happening as far as you know.
And it would seem clear by your statements about him consuming alcohol that you may very well have unresolved negative judgments perhaps about alcoholism. In any case, you don't know that either way if he is an alcoholic or not and even if he were it doesn't mean everyone suffering from alcoholism is doomed, wrong, bad, evil, or struggling with it. Perhaps they are free of such suffering that you apply to those who you see drinking often without knowing what they are experience directly for yourself as you can know directly for yourself what is only your own direct experience which is obviously NOT everyone else's experience.
The only problem here is the one you are imagining as his problem yet that is of your own mind's making that you are then psychologically projecting upon him and ignoring the reality that it belongs to your own thinking mind that is actually appearing in as your thoughts and thus has more to say about the state of the mental conditioning of your mind and has nothing at all to do with him.

You can see the way Stevewilldoit fidgets, looks down away from both of them, and laughs nervously - he's insecure about something and he's not totally comfortable facing up to whatever it is. Steve-O has faced lifetimes of the very same thing and likely much much worse; he's come through the otherside and has become wise because of it. To me, it seems like Steve-O sees right through Steve-W's schtick but at the same time he still has a lot of respect for him because they're both kindred spirits. I bet Steve-O really wishes for him to take better care of himself but knows that you can't help someone who doesn't want help at the very same time.

The fact that he can sit there while stevewilldoit drinks and not even flinch towards drinking again is impressive and real will power by the standards of any man.
Actually, it has nothing to do with will power. He works a recovery program that has helped him heal himself spiritually to the point of relieving his need to drink in the first place. It is tough to explain and/or understand for someone that hasn’t been through it.
@@aaronbickford8725 all addicts are built differently. I have a best friend who is 7 years sober who will take vacation from work to do mini-tours following Phish for a week or 2 at a time. I'm sure he's one of the VERY few sober people at those shows. Though, even by his own admission, it's not something he would have done early in his sobriety. I've been sober since January 2021 and still avoid any alcohol related functions. I personally still don't trust myself to be around it.

Don't know if you're referencing the white claws but I hope you know white claws are like 9% ABV where I live at that's more than any other regular lager beer on the market.
