    It's very similar to our coco bread, but in Jamaica🇯🇲 coco bread has coconut milk instead of water. I love your channel keep the recipes coming please. ❤

    I LOVE your channel. I am Guyanese and now I use your Roti recipe because the results are great. I’m suggesting u flash the measurements for each ingredient as u go along so that I’m not having to stop the video and keep sliding back to hear it.

    Thank you for all these nostalgic authentic Guyanese recipes. I havent had butter flap in over 20 years. I just discovered your channel last night and I'm in love. More importantly please continue to do more instant pot cooking since I just bought mine 3 weeks ago and am still trying to figure it out. I'm definitely making pepperpot next with it. Before I go just a little request, can you please make that authentic Guyanese fried rice. Thanks you and keep up the great work. 👍

      @@Metemgee Ok great I'm so looking forward to the authentic fried rice. No worries I already subscribed since last night when I discovered you 😁. By the way you do baigan choka different from me. I was taught to stick the garlic in the baigan with the skin and roast it first before sauteing it. Another recipe I would love to see is how to make Dahl

      @@Metemgee I had to come back to just let you know this was fantastic! Soft, delicious & the salty butter gives it full flavour. No-one in my house complained, except that I didn't make enough, for my husband to ask me to make more so he can take to work for tea break instead of sandwiches was great as he usually doesn't care what he takes. Will definitely try the pepperpot, I could almost taste it whilst you cooked it, I won't be able to find cow heels, I believe that gives it great flavour, will just have to find something else? Thank you so much :)

    Hi, these look divine im making jamaican beef cocktail patties for my bday party so therefore these butter flaps would work perfectly as they are small just wondering if I could make ahead and freeze? and if so should I cook then freeze or just freeze dough? its just too much to do so much baking etc on the day. Thanks

    • @Metemgee
      @Metemgee  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. You can make ahead a day or two and just put in the refrigerator. No need to freeze. If you do want to freeze I would recommended freezing the dough. Then bringing to room temperature before making.

    They are not coco bread. It might look similar, but its not the same thing.
    We need to stop lumping things together because they look similar and we need to find a connection.
    All the coco bread I've had never really had much taste. So its not the same thing.
