Not sure what you mean by this. The only time u don’t charge attacks is when you’re at full meter. Hopefully that answers the question. Unless of course you’re using adrenaline. Then always charge attacks.
Hey, got a question real quick. With Relentless Onslaught, to get the Best use out of it, wouldn't it be better Not to fill the meter all the way? Like 98% Charge, and then use it? Since it doesn't gain meter, this would be the best way to use it. (Then again since it won't give meter, it makes it harder to Hold the current level of determination. Unless you are a god at management, or just know how long each determination level takes to reset to level 0)
I see where you coming from. Keeping at near full charge and then throwing will give you more damage than throwing at full charge but again, at some point you will have to throw it on full charge to keep your determination level up. AND you have to land all three hits to get that big thirds bonus hit. Overall not an efficient special compared to Grim. Its definitely a fun special. Wouldnt recommend using relentless unless using a meme build tho. There are much better things to spend steel marks on. 😊
@@CAG420 Which weapon do you think a relatively new Axe user use, continue Axe or train with Hammer first? I have just switched from Sword and went straight to Axe. I thought Hammer should be a bridge to overcome the skill gap between Sword to Axe. Unless... It's not necessary. That's very much fine as well.
@@locke_ytb I would say practice with axe. It took me a while figuring out the reach of the axe attacks and where to position myself for my charge attacks. For example when the behemoth is enraging you can stand by its tail in most cases, charged your attack and land a full charged combo with out being hit by the AOE red burst thing. Hammer plays very differently from axe so i wouldnt recommend practicing with it. Just stick to axe and dont be afraid to play safe and slow.
Energized does help with charge time but you would be sacrificing some other very important cells just for increased charge rate, which could work out to still helping increase damage since u have your axe throw more often, it still wouldn’t be enough of a damage increase to swap for something like adrenaline or cunning. Energized works great on early game axe builds where you are not as concerned with doing as much damage as possible and more focused on survivability and utility.
Best armor pieces for high damage axe builds are: chronotreads, thrax chest, malkarion gloves, timeweaver helm, skraev chest, torg gloves, timeweaver feet and timeweaver gloves. Honestly the best full set to get asap is Timeweaver which you acquire from Paradox Breaks.
@@CAG420 thx i got back into dauntless recently and im enhoying the axes way too much i already got the timeweave armor fully should i focus on power surging it? i also recently got the discipline omnicell but cant get the hang of it sadly.
@@vazarinmajora6851 yea it wouldnt be a bad idea to get it all powersurged. Just keep in mind you will eventually be mixing and matching armor pieces later in game when you unlock more AND becareful fighting umbral behemoths since you will be in full radiant armor And welcome back Dauntless Slayer!
@@vazarinmajora6851 a good safe bet is chronovore bonded with rezakiri axe. Only downside is if youre using pulse on your throws the Unique Effect on the rez axe can throw off your pulse crit. But it gives you passive +3 cunning and the chrono weapons gives you a self revive on a 30 second cooldown. Other solid mentions; Pangar/Urska Axe, Agarus/Koshai.

If you get Axe to 10 reforges then it gives you a 5% damage boost to all weapons. 1 reforge is 1%. 3 Reforges 2%. 5 Reforges 3%. 7 Reforges 4%, and 10 Reforges at 5%. Hopefully that makes sense.
When it comes to dauntless you mix and match armor. So you will need a wide variety of gear from different behemoths. But you can always check out my build videos to see what equipment i use.
@@CAG420yo i got a question, i usually used dark watch for the helmet to gain +3 cunning and be able to use the overpower cell but if i change it into timeweave helm i only get +3 predator and i am only able to use the cells with the sword emblem. Where am i supposed to put in overpower cell? Cause if i change it with something in my agarus axe i won’t be able to put that somewhere else right?
@@Arnitra007 A little confused on what you’re asking, but I will do my best to answer. Having Agarus axe gives you two free cell slots so if you needed. Put dark watch on, slot with overpower and put predator in your Agarus axe

While I dont go over any specific builds in this video, I have released a handful of axe builds that I all use regularly. If youre new to axe I would try my heroic escalation build or my easy to use Discipline axe build 😊👍 As an end game player and an axe enjoyer i have over 15 loadout slots of axe builds that I swap out on the fly for different scenarios. So I never really stick with just one.

After reforge The axe 10 times and going back to my repeaters to be honest I prefer the axe now lol. Now off to the Hammer to Max reforge. 😵
The axe calls to you slayer! I enjoy the hammer too. The sound design behind the hammer is 👌 repeaters on the other hand are just not my jam.

The black is the midnight dye from Trials store and I believe the gold dye is called goldenrod and it’s just a standard gold dye.

Why know knockout or weighted strikes cells
Axe already does a ton of stagger damage naturally so adding knockout king or weighted strikes is overkill unless making a “meme” build.

If you need parts, then sure. But overpower will always be better since it deals it overall damage. Not JUST part damage.
