Disney Cruise Food: Is It Actually Good? | Honest Review

- This is our first cruise with Disney Cruise Line and I’ve heard a lot about the food quality being better than other cruise lines. Is this true? Let’s find out in this video where I board the Disney Dream for a four night cruise and try as much of the food as possible. We went to Remy Dessert Experience, we tried Pallo for brunch and we try Disney’s famous rotational dining.

I have only been on one Disney Cruise about 4 years ago. I agree with you that the food was very good. But I can also see with your video that the main dining rooms are still extremely noisy. Disney is a family cruise line with lots of children who love to have a good time and I don't begrudge them that. But sometimes it's difficult to have a conversation with the person sitting across the table from you when there are so many loud, enthusiastic children. And for the record I was traveling with two children for that cruise.

I agree with you and actually, I knew there would be lots of children onboard…. I just wasn’t prepared for the noise levels at times.
So much of our footage couldn’t be used.
Having said that…. Yes I would sail with them again if I could get another good deal. Food was very good, entertainment was some of the best I’ve had at sea, the actual ship was great and incredibly well maintained, not forgetting the amazing crew.
I just need to get my mindset past the screaming kids!!!

Yes, we were really impressed with the fireworks. Much better than we expected and Disney are the only line that fires fireworks off the ship!!!

Just got off Disney Wish. Food was subpar at best. Breakfast in main ding room, 1923, was awful.
Oh no. That’s not good to hear as that is one ship I wanted to try. 😢
We loved the ship and the elevator locations and new style “no touch” buttons worked fine. This was our 11th DCL cruise.
A lot less live music and what they has was not great. Shows were very good as usual.
Most of the staff is new including Palo. Very nice but inexperienced.
A lot of people will defend the ship because it’s Disney or have not cruised before. The high cost does not justify the experience.
Many small details have been eliminated from their cruises and it’s starting to show.
It’s really too bad. We will be trying Viking for a Greece trip but have not given up on Disney yet.
I do think the cost is a contributing factor. Now Viking experience is out of this world. I've done a few videos on Viking Venus. I've taken nearly 50 cruises, and Viking is overall the best.

I would go back if the price was right! I have my eye on a sailing to Bermuda next year. I wouldn’t pay normal prices though, so am looking for a good deal.

The food and presentation looks really good David. However, the ambiance of a restaurant is very important in the overall experience and unfortunately this is where it would fall down for us with so much background noise. Another great video though David especially considering the environment in which you had. 🙏👍
Thanks for watching as always. Yes, it was an issue, there’s no getting away from it and it was overwhelming at times. It’s not for everyone by any means.
There is a lot to like though and I’m surprised to say, I would sail with Disney again! The actual ship itself was amazing and incredibly well maintained. Not a spot of rust to be seen anywhere. They were constantly cleaning and repainting the ships hull…. It was very noticeable.
@@CruiseShowUK our Daughter, SIL & 2 Grandchildren go on it next July. The ship looks great and had we not already have committed to other arrangements would certainly have been with them. Noise from your own grandchildren is far more acceptable somehow! 🤣🙏👍
I always enjoy your food rating videos. They make me hungry... but I feel I learn something with each one... and most of the foods look gorgeous. 😺
🙉One thing I noticed in this video is the amount of noise that's all around you in every restaurant (except the one where you had the dessert tasting). If there's that much noise with only half a ship of guests, I can imagine how noisy it would be with a full complement.
Hi Ebba! Thanks for watching. Yes the noise levels were something I wasn’t prepared for. Many many times we had to stop recording as it was so loud.
I wonder if it’s like that on all Disney cruises? I assume so!!
