Got the battle damaged, and it's really good. Only wish they did wired cape but I can see mcfarlane going back and redoing it like the Superman walmart exclusives out now.
I just got the regular version Saturday. Your's has a better finish to the completion of the unmasked head than mine does. Mine is very flat to the finish , whereas yours had a nice little finish to it. I hope o come across one of your version. I still have my Mattel Bruce Wayne Dark Knight Returns head. I gotta get it to fit the thinner peg of the McFarlaneMcFarlane figure.
Pretty cool looking figure, but the belt kind of kills it for me. Instead of shading it looks like it's a black belt with yellow flaps (or whatever you'd call those). If they had airbrushed some of the black partly up onto the flaps then I think it would have translated a little better as a shadow, but as it is the contrast is a bit too stark. That said, I still probably would have picked one up from BBTS, but by the time I heard that they had them in stock they were already sold out (natch). However, I was thinking about picking up a second one of the standard figures and removing the battle damage with acetone. Then I'd have one regular and one battle damaged.
I took the all grey do it yourself figure and re painted it and added a leather cape. Figure is done in dark blue/grey. Added the thigh pouches, the nicest one I’ve ever made.
I've seen some tips on how to make McFarlane figures taller by removing parts and reassembling them in a specific order so the pegs won't be so much deep into the peg holes, I think it was with Hush Superman the video I've seen or Superman Rebirth. Maybe you could try that. Changins pegs seems like a good option as well.
@@dHuntersReviews I'm gonna get the first TDKR wave just now from BBTS. I always wanted the horse but I didn't want Joker and Kelly. I had the idea of using the Joker's body as a suited civillian body combining parts of his body with the shin of unmasked Battinson. I'll try that and warp his tie. Sorry for the long message but I thought as you do customs maybe you'd be interested in this idea.
I also saw this available at BBTS but I passed it up for the Platinum Huntress. Not a fan of the shading. Looks like he got a mixture of soot and ink all over. Not as bad as the injustice 3 pack Batman but it's hideous.
Funny how you cant get that figure in the same pose on the collectors card. So out of touch. Reborn Batman is a decent release minus the cape material.
One of the best collectors edition gold label exclusive! Got two myself after watching your video.
@@Marcus-ru1ht awesome
Holy smokes Batman. He's freaking sick😎
That he is!
Your Returns collection is amazing 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thank you sir
My favourite channel of action figures!
Thank you sir
The dark is to simulate the shadows from the non light up lamp post.
Makes sense
Yes, I have one of each. I really like this one- people need to remember it’s shading from the lamp pole.
Yea it’s excellent. The chase is my favorite all-time from McFarlane
Guess that makes sense
@@nateb9664 watch McFarlane make chase variants to the point the figures lose all collectors value

Doubt they’ll do that but it’s a possibility
Hi do you think the chase is gonna show up at retailers???
It’s randomly packed in
Any retailer that has the regular had a small chance of getting a platinum
I picked this up today from my local GameStop they had only one in stock
i missed this one :( thanks D!!
This video or this release?

I have 2 of those heads
One is on Mattel armored Batman
One is on a suited body
Great review! Still on the lookout for the blue and grey TDKR figure.
Good luck!
That shading is interesting. I wonder if they will do this with other characters?
I like it
I wonder if it’s because he comes with the lamp post?

I agree, the belt is weird

I’d love to see that
Fantastic figure! Ngl it’s amazing how much detail they managed to crunch into this one👏
Excellent variant

Don’t think it’ll make much. Difference on him

I’ve seen people do that with the joker body, but it’s so stylized
@@dHuntersReviews About that, I'm thinking about using the heat technique to change the way the torso looks as well. I'm gonna give it a shot.
That won’t change the torso
I'd prefer this one over the battle damaged version for sure.
Big time
This wave has excellent platinums

I think it’s awesome in hand
Better than regular
Huntress is fantastic

This is true
He can sort of hit the pose…
Sort of lol
When I first pre ordered this on mcfarlane I was praying I didn’t get the platinum one lol.
What did you end up getting
McFarlane website only sends regulars
