As a remodeling contractor I truly appreciate organization. Less time looking for stuff is more time being productive. I’m looking forward to watching the TH-cam evolution of your Packout. I have to say a sparky with a dust pan & a broom… I feel as though I just saw a unicorn.
Quite an impressive array of tools!! It's really what the modern technician needs in this day of diverse field conditions! Thank you for posting this!!
Very well done. I thought I was the only one that saw the need for more small pouches in these rolling tool boxes. Not everybody uses nothing but large power tools. None of the soft sided rolling tool bags have enough pockets either. I’ve done similar mods to a Husky rolling bag, added 2 full rows of pockets for all the small hand tools I carry. I only carry a cordless drill…the rest is hand tools and my kit bends the beams at around 70 lbs. thanks for sharing.
For the inner front pockets you screwed on, I did this a while back using heavy duty adhesive velcro strips, has worked very well so far, without needing to put holes in the front.
I absolutely love this. I’ve seen a lot of tool set ups but by far, this is my favorite. You set up is exactly what I want. I love using the Tough Built system along with my mobile tool boxes. But you have some amazing ideas to further my set up. Thanks for posting this.
Ayyyeee I remember you! How neat that TH-cam told me of your next vid. Inspiring me as a mechanic and handyman. Wishing you good health to you and loved ones.
I appreciate the look at the mods you have made. I really like the piece of 1x4 or 1x6 that you have inside the box as a divider. I never thought about drilling holes for screwdrivers to sit in the divider like that. Everybody has seen holes drilled in wood for screwdrivers but I've never seen it with the holes in that sort of orientation. Very smart sir. Also the only difference in my setup is that I prefer to not have stuff on the outside of the cases. It is just one more thing to worry about like tools falling off or someone stealing something on the outside. And also because it is heavy and hard enough to get the packout in the truck as it is. Stuff hanging all around it I image would take much more effort. But that is just my opinion and what I like in my packout. Overall great video and thanks for the share
Love the cliptech packout combo. I'm a plumber / heating specialist and I have 2 big and 3 small draws plus my cliptech stuff and it's so efficient. Massive time safer.
Top tier build! Very well thought out and honestly can say best build I’ve seen!! It’s been a year now, have you made any changes? If so please upload a update!!!
Nicely done. Not everyone just carries a bucket of power tools. My trade I carry one cordless drill and the other 40 lbs is hand tools. I made similar modes to a Husky rolling tool bag because there was not nearly enough small pouches/slots for hand tools.
Wow I really like the organization! Where did you get the pockets for your tools on the inside of the box and what is the dimensions of a piece of wood that you placed in the center of the box I really like that idea and also where did you purchase the screwdriver Holder that’s mounted on the lid?
Love it. Subscribed. It would be great to hear you talk about where you actually screwed/drilled into the box and where you didn’t need to. My box is coming soon and would like to minimize any opportunity for water to intrude. Do you use the top for any packout attachments? Thinking of 3D printed feet to Mount other things to the top.
Just seen this, and im also using the milwaukee and tough built here in the uk. Only difference is my milwaukee is black and i dont have no where near the amount of tough built parts. Nice idea with the clips on the back. All the best, and great setup 👌
Damm bro, that is some serious organizational system you going on. I never thought of utilizing the outside as much as you have. Well done! One question though, when you are rolling your box do the bags on the wheel side drag or touch the ground?
I have been using the toughbuilt ones with no issues on the back even going up stairs is not an issue but I just added the Hilti and supply bags so I haven't tried that with stairs yet. If it does catch the Hilti and zipper bags I just gotta cut the zip ties and figure something else out. My advice is start with things you know will work and make adjustments till it's dialed in.
Wow that's a lot of pouches. Interestingly I just added apiece of aluminium inside like your wood piece to keep things upright in my Hart stack. What pouch is the one inside the front? I guess the rear one is the same. I'm just trying to figure out how to keep the tools more upright to make them easier to find as well. I do have something you forgot. I added a drink holder on one side. Just gotta have water with you.
What's that triangular grey object with bristles on the right hand side outside of the box? I'm an Electrician and I've never seen such a tool, what is it used for? 🤔
Impressive, but the issue I see is with the durability of the box itself. It's been highly customized so when part of it fails, whether due to wear and tear or weak spots because of holes drilled, weight etc., it will be a major process to customize another box.
@@lowvoltagedude7837 I bought their larger Pack Out tote for around the house and for when I do work at my rentals. It's superior to anything DeWalt or other brands offer given its larger size and number of pockets. However, I actually prefer the DeWalt Toughsystem boxes over the Milwaukee. Personal preference I guess. And for large amounts of screws, nails, plumbing fittings etc. I think the $30 Ridgid organizers are the best.

Right who needs a vacuum when I can almost get all of it with a dust pan and brush 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it's really nice having it for simple quick clean ups and no noise is a plus.
The one thing pack out systems suck at is tool access on the job. You've gone a long way to address that. If you take a small table to set this on it'll save a helluva lotta bending over during a day's work. Nice job
Be honest they all do the same thing. The stud buddy is very slim and compact and I can't remember the name of the other one but it's a little bulkier and then
Nadium 52 magnet that I purchased from Amazon. I just wrap it up in a microfiber cloth and zip tie. It off is probably my favorite because it's probably the strongest magnet that I have, but in all they all are great
I do like having all of them because I can put them on the wall and mark out all my studs. If I ever need to be certain of the center of a stud, I usually pull out my Franklin that is kind of a bigger tool. I to use the magnets most of the time.
Always nice to see a real world packout.

That is one of the nicest modded rolling boxes I’ve seen.
Thank you 🙏🍻
for the beautiful work you did on this you will save time and lost tools in the long run. very inspiring for me.
These boxes are awesome but it get ridiculous stacking boxes when you can do something like this, love it.

I might have to travel over the black pack out looks so much better than the red

I got a similar setup butt only take the basic and the nessecery for the job.

I also use the tough built clip awesome Sauce

A tool box with tools in it. What’s the big fuzz?
Where did you get those clips for the klein pouches
Where you get the tool bad tote?
how much does that all weigh? do you have (more) boxes that go on top?
What's that triangular grey object with bristles on the right hand side outside of the box? I'm an Electrician and I've never seen such a tool, what is it used for? 🤔
How do you raise and lower your handle if the ToughBuilt tool clip is screwed thru the release/lock button?
Nice!
Thanks brother 🙏🍻🍻🍻🍻
Where did you get the cliptech attachment for the klein canvas bag?
I removed it from a toughbuilt pouch and used it on my Klein 🍻
Excellent job
Which Cliptech pouches did you borrow from to use the cliptech device from & what type of rivets did you use to mount the other brand pouches to??
How heavy is it when it is fully loaded?
How did you get the clip tech female ends? I want to make a Kline bag similar to yours but I can’t find just the clips anywhere
Лучший вариант из тех что я видел. Многое из того что у вас теперь сделаю у себя . Спасибо большое.
Great Idea
His pack out makes mine shrivel up.
Awesome dude!
Hi.
What is the exact name of the green screwdriver holder?
Thanks
Kinda over kill but I see a few ideas I wanna try haha cool video!
Really digging inside the box
Please let me know what holder you use for your screwdrivers:)
What kind of pouches are you using to line the inside of the box with?
I like your video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I want to do something vary similar. What did you use to hold your hand tools on the inside?
Bro what brand of pouches are on the inside ?

How much does it weigh with everything?
I’m curious about this as well. Can you lift it fairly easily to load into a truck?
