I made this cognac case as a birthday present for someone who is very important to me. We both like cognac and the design idea started with the shape of the cognac bottle and the case built around it. I wanted the opening mechanism to be special and surprising and I added lights to bring more excitement to the gift.
Materials that I used is abachi, walnut and oak.

Absolutely amazing! I’ve watched this a few times and I always get something more each time. Like some others, I would like more information on your build. I’m not after detailed plans, I would just like something I can look at to get some sense of the dimensions. Also, what is the glue you use for laminating the veneers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA. I will try to send you an email. Thx.

I mostly use Cascol polyurethane glue when I laminate veneers. It holds the thinnest bending shapes best and also glues veneers when its wet. 👌🏽
