Making of a steam-bent design chair
The Chair
I needed dining room chairs for my new home so I designed exactly the kind of chairs that I wanted. As you can see from my previous videos my passion is to bend veneer and wood. For the chairs I decided to bend the back part and the seat part of the chair out of solid wood, because otherwise it would take very large amount of veneers. For bending the solid wood I built a steaming box and bought a wallpaper removal device. With those I got the wood steamed enough to bend it into the shape I wanted.
The upholstery of the chairs is genuine leather. I bought a second hand leather sofa, removed the leather and used it to upholster the chairs. The back part and the seat part can both be removed from the frame of the chair with screws. The wood material in the chairs is ash.

Making of exclusive wooden table
มุมมอง 1.3Kปีที่แล้ว
I was excited to create an angular ball with a small greenhouse inside. My intention was to minimize waste as much as possible and I used the bandsaw leftovers to the bottom and upper pieces so there came almost zero waste. Light veneer was affected by moisture over time and usually that kind of veneers is ruined and thrown away, but I still wanted to turn it to a good use. This work reflects t...
Making of wooden clothing rack
มุมมอง 1.5Kปีที่แล้ว
I got frustrated with wrinkled clothes and decided to make a clothing rack. I would like the rack to be disassembleable and have space for shoes at the bottom. The style and design is traditional and slightly Asian. I am very satisfied with the final result and this product will be used a lot. The wood and veneer I used are of ash. Eres tan amable de escribir las dimenciones?
hey, here are the approximate dimensions of the chair: seat height 470 mm, seat depth 450 mm, chair depth 590 mm, chair height 745 mm, chair width 550 mm, armrest/backrest height 685 - 745 mm
Muy bien hecha me ha encantado
Muchas gracias!!
Realy an amazing work
Thank you 🙌🏽
Nice to see quality work with imagination
Thank you very much!
El trabajo de carpintería y diseño me parecen geniales 🏅, pero la música del video no está a la altura 🔇. Enhorabuena ¡¡¡👍
¡Gracias por tu comentario!
Nice build but I'm not seeing any real skill just towels and domino joints and a total reliance on power tools but nice build though
👌🏽
Take no notice.. guy's jealous. Fantastic design and construction ❤
The skill is knowing how to use the tools and machinery. This is a professional workshop, not some hobby woodworker. Speaking as a joiner.
Jealous much? Haha
Nice work. Good you didn't call this DIY :D Edit: Ah, I realised you did with a #DIY. Nice DIY with your kind of equipment - most will definitely can do same stuff at home.
😉
I want to be like you one day 🪚🔨✏️🪚
I really appreciate your comment 🙌🏽🙌🏽
DAYUM that's a big router
😉
Before this video I never really appreciated how much extra work goes into a taking a chair from basic to amazing. Amazing work.
Thank you for your comment 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Machines are Professional, but Man is not so Yet
😉
Супер!!!
🙌🏽
Nice work!
Thanks!
Молодец!
Большое спасибо
Nicely done. Can the back support really hold?
Thanks! I have been using the chairs for about 4 months and there is no problem. If I remember correctly, I drilled a 5 or 5.5mm hole and used M6 screws. The hole is tight and the screws made the threads in the hole.
can you make a video how you made the clamping mold at 0:57
Hello! I'm sorry, but I didn't film that part at all.
Beautiful work! I like the sound of the tools with music, but perhaps turn the music down a wee bit or just use instrumental music. The singing is a little distracting. 😊
Thanks for the comment. There have been comments about the music in the past, so I will also publish videos without music in the future 🙌🏽
Xin chào tôi yêu công việc của bạn chúc mừng 🎉🎉🎉
Cảm ơn rất nhiều 🙏🏽
Just found this channel. Amazed that so little subscribers. Maybe try with no music and just shop sounds
Thank you! Maybe I try to publish videos with out music also👌🏽
Ompas komiat tuolit. Tulee sellainen 80-luvun fiilis mieleen.
Kiitos!
Damn great work from a great artist. It’s time to recognize woodworking as master art pieces

Hienosti tehty video🙏 upea uniikki design tuoli🫶
Kiitos paljon 😌
Sehr schön
Danke 🙏🏽
sorry, which glue do you use for gluing the veneers
I used cascol polyurethane.
There is a good thing to apply glue in the dowels too, i think.
Ye it is 👌🏽
Maravilloso...
Aivan mahtavaa! Saarni on niin kaunis puu!
Olen samaa mieltä!
Yay! A wood worker that doesn't talk throughout the entire video 😀 also - great work!
Thank you 😃
Amazing! 😮🤩
Thank you 😌
Very nice! Do you sell plans for these?

Kiitos paljon 🙌🏽
All I can say, is WOW!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Very professional work. Beautiful chairs and elegant.
Thank you!
Very nice. I disagree with the laser comment below. This is an amalgamation of skills using modern day equipment and methods to produce a contemporary, bespoke product which looks and functions beautifully. My congratulations on a wonderful outcome 👍
Thank you very much for your comment. I appreciate it! 💥
amazing. well done.
Thank you 🙏🏽
yeah having an elaborate box that opens to show us a chicken on a bottle of alcohol should make you and/or box be prestigious
😂🙏🏽🙏🏽
Just wow!
Thank you 🙏🏽
Ваши видео то, что я искал давно . Подскажите пожалуйста, что за клей используется для склейки шпона?
Nice to hear! I use Casco Cascol polyurethane glue. I've tried many different glues, but I think Casco worked the best.
What kind a glue are use? Polyurethane or PVA ?
Hey, When I bend some shapes, I use polyurethane glue. For joints, etc. I use Titebond 3 or various PVAC glues.
@@Veisalm thank u mate!🙏🏻
Несправедливо мало просмотров для такой работы и такого канала! Талант!
Thank you very much for your comments! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Stunning.

What knife are you using?
Hey, I’m not sure what is the right word of this knife, but check the website 👌🏽 -> www.plektratrading.fi/kasityokalut/viiluveitsi-10-vaihtoteraa/p/D-1000P/#description
Not really a craftsman when it's mostly done with a laser machine
👍🏼
Un trabajo hermoso.
Muchas gracias!
