for the aux cases, is there a 3d print for just the bmi270/bno085, or is there no smaller extension / aux case? i was getting rdy to do old build that had smaller extension cases for aux but i did not see any for lite version. im guessing the extensions have all same components as the main cases?
What is the price point (more or less) for each tracker with this BOM! And how much time on average do you need for a tracker if you are already somewhat in "training" with soldering and with these trackers?
I've got PCB assembly down to about 10mins per tracker (getting on with it, not frantic pace). There's also time spent on the 3D printer to reset it each time it finishes a case. There's also calibration, which is another five mins per tracker, and I also do an in-game session with each set for testing. Then there's packing and posting. So, there's a lot of factors in labour, some of it easy to measure, some of it (like testing) can be argued as just me playing the game. Cost wise, my BOM is about $10 per tracker, that's having ordered parts for 50 trackers a time. But if you were doing a single set, you can probably still stay under $15. Also depends on if you have access to a 3D printer.
I find watching people build/solder things together is very zen and relaxing. Like watching Bob Rossi paint.
