My dad and I use to do this exact same thing (well similar thing) in the late 90s and early 2000s except we’d actually go to the auctions to place bids. We’d get a faxed list of cars up for auction each week from 2 locations then go scope out what we wanted the day of the auction. Some of these lists would be 100s of pages long. We would buy 5 - 15 per week. Sometimes body damage but no junk and never salvage or rebuilt titles. We had a bunch of retired senior citizen friends we knew from the country club and would pay them for 2 days of work plus 1 night at a hotel near the auction to drive the cars back (saved a ton of money on shipping). We made a killing, then the Great Recession hit. We could see the writing on the wall and decided to cut our loses early so we ended up not really being affected by the down turn in the economy. Sometimes I wish I was still in that game but what I got going on now is much better. The lessons I learned during that time period (late teens - mid 20s) def helped me to get where I am today!
I’ve been selling cars from auction for months. The hardest part of it is getting a rebuilt title. Most inspections don’t have it. You lose months of time in advance/ profit. I wouldn’t recommend this business unless you have the funding. I bought bad cars from auction because the undercarriage was messed up. Don’t do this business if you’re looking to get rich fast, it isn’t fast. It’ll take months/ years of experience to even start without losing your money at once.
Getting a rebuilt title isn't that hard bro, at least here in the Detroit area. I've been buying cars from copart and IAA since I was in high school (8+ yrs) and I've never had an issue with inspections and getting the rebuilt titles from the secretary of state, and I've probably bought at least 40 salvage cars.
Because you don’t check your cars before you buy them I buy them from auction and flip them I can easily buy a car from copart with a rebuilt title 😂😂😂
@@Solo.ik3 nah not necessarily, copart and Iaa also have a selection of vehicles u can buy in their public auctions, I’ve bought alot of them that way and for dealer only vehicles I use my OG’s dealers license 😅
Great info, I've only bought off copart and can verify first hand what you said about iaai being more clear on the damage. Luckily I haven't taken a loss yet but have come close. I do try to stay on the no license required auvehicles but did use autobidmaster for my first one. It was a pretty smooth transaction. Do note for other buyers though, depending on the state if you don't get the proper paperwork some states (like kentucky) will make you pay taxes on the nada value of the vehicle rather than the sales price. I had to argue with the Atlanta lot to notarize a form (ky tc-95 I believe) so I didn't pay 150% more on taxes then what I actually bought it for
Hello! I hope your business venture has been going well. What has the process been of getting no license required vehicles? I am very interested in learning this, as it is something I wish to do as I am also building my personal business.
Khal...hey how much different are the 05-10 300s to swap the hellcat into. I understand the rear cradles are a bit different or not? Any advice would be appreciated. Love the channel.
I bought my 2016 Charger off of IAA. 5.7 (Pursuit). Car was in Alabama I had it shipped to Florida where I was visiting, then drove it back here to Detroit.
i have a question im new to this and when i look at the car i want it said the estimated repair cost is 64k but the car doesnt have much damage and the engine is running .. and why would it cost so much for 64 you can just buy a new one .. i dont get it. someone help me please cuz im interested in this audi a7
then there's the cost of the repairs and fees. I feel like i would hate selling cars because everyone is so cut throat and try to scam you, unless you know people, and getting to know those people is tough. regardless, this was great insight into your world.
Bro don’t be mad at me but I’m finna spam hellcat Pacifica in your comments cause your probably the best person doing the swaps and I wanna see one let alone it’s a weird dream vehicle for me lmao

Also be careful & have your local County Clerks/Tax Office run the VIN# so you'll know if you can Title the Vehicle in your State before purchasing, especially Coastal States. You got mad talent bro. Killer builds on this channel.
Where do you find the repair/ donor parts that u need? (Ex: corvette front bumper) for the best price possible?
Perfect timing actually because I was just thinking about saving up to buy a hemi or hellcat I can rebuild and sell
Whoever is bidding for that 2021 charger hellcat with 7k miles should've just put down payment for a new one that bid is up 20k already 😂
There going to bid more than that on copart I bid
Do you typically avoid the water damaged vehicles? Flood cars?
Starting is the hardest part
Been watching your vids for a min, I bought a truck so i can buy low from out to state. Appreciate the game
“Someone probably got shot in it” 😂
How do you get in and out of the track Hawk when it's in the trailer ??

Is it true you can’t change the miles on late 2018+ track hawks thru the port?
Do you know if those SRT key fobs would be compatible with the 2011-2013 Jeep SRT8 s?
This was an awesome primer! Thank you!
Great video, I want to try this on a low-cost vehicle to get started. Thanks for the copart alternative. Subscribed.
Yooo this explains a lot was looking at a grand national shit went from Illinois to New York just like that trackhawk you showed
Whats up Khal , thanks for the info very helpful .
I do have a question how do you setup your auto transport . When you buy from other states ?
Good video. One thing you forgot is you have to have a dealer license to buy from them. They don’t sell to public.
Autobidmasters partners with copart you use them as your broker no need for a license for a state that requires one bid thru them same lot
Im tryna figure out how you get out once you pull the car in the trailor
Maybe a demon charger 170? Khal custom 1of1 build soon???? 😳
That a be hard
Much love and support from Boston 🙏🏻 ❤
I love that green on the jeep
Do you have the steering wheel for the 11-14 srt that light up?
