    thanks for great and fun videos! When you mentioned keeping notes so you could go back and recreate pieces you like, I thought about marking the back with a sharpie with a corresponding number to your note pad. Just a thought! If not wanting to use Sharpie, use a little sticky "thingy".

    Huge question. When doing black and white what turns out better with the consistencies of both? Rather they're they're same consistency, thicker white and thin black, or thicker black and thin white. Would really love to see you make a video on this or comment what you've noticed works the best. Thank you so much. Happy pours to you my friend

    Those colors are just beautiful! I have always despised modern art (sorry), but I LOVE this pouring- The explosion of color just makes me happy. My chronically depressed best friend came over last night and she tried her first pour. She went home very happy!

      @@LeftBrainedArtist Totally agree! My house is like farmhouse/ thrift shop/ family heirlooms. Not sure what that decor is called, but I prefer farmhouse scenes, cows.... I will definitely be making room for a pour- as soon as I do one worthy of being seen! But, yeah, seeing my friend so happy and pleased with herself was so awesome. YOU got me started, so thank you! Any tips for thorough drying in a reasonable amount of time? Considering in this example it's left to dry in a slighlty higher humidity setting than would be normal. Many thanks!!

    • @LeftBrainedArtist

      Dry: 24 - 48 hours for normal climates and 36 - 72 for humid.

    • @LeftBrainedArtist
      @LeftBrainedArtist  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, that just preserves the interior pour structure but you are absolutely correct. It woudl have kept so many lines from forming (although they are one of my favorite parts).

    • @death057
      @death057 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@LeftBrainedArtist well now that you've done one without the flue extender I think if you did one with the flow extender it would also help you to have more choices in where you want to extend the lines and where you don't that doesn't mean that I remembered to use flow extender the first couple of flop cups I did LOL yeah I know nothing about that not at all LOL

    Hey man - I haven't commented before but I love your videos and your realness. Quick question about the pour calculator on your site - when it says 7.7oz of medium consistency paint mixture needed for an 11"x14" / .75" depth canvas, does that mean by weight? Because when I switch to metric it says 33.6 grams which is far less than 7.7oz. It seems like the 'standard' calculator is by volume and the 'metric' part is by weight? I've been mixing by volume but want to start using a scale for accurate observations. Thank you

    • @LeftBrainedArtist
      @LeftBrainedArtist  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you switch to metric you probably need to change the Height Width Depth because they are probably still in inches instead of centimeters. I just realized we don't clear the values when you swap to metric after putting them in. Thanks for pointing out that bug.

    • @Quais32
      @Quais32 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@LeftBrainedArtist thank you for the clarification, it all makes sense now. Can’t believe I didn’t think of that.

    • @blenkihops7631
      @blenkihops7631 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Just calculate the surface area in square centimeter and divide it by 6( better 5 for some extra). Now you have the volume of the paint you need in milliliter or cubic centimeters. The weight of mixed paint is mostly around 1.4gram per cubic centimeter. so when you multiply your volume of needed paint with 1.4 you get the weight in grams.
