The idea of Niko returning home and drawing all the friends they met and telling their family about it and them thinking Niko just has a good imagination both warms my heart and makes me want to sob
It warms my heart knowing that Niko never forgot about the world he saved. Though... it also saddens me that we're just a disembodied voice in his head, and that he never drew us.

Our connection with Niko and the memories we made keep him alive in our hearts and he will never be really gone. We saved the world and got Niko home. The fact that it doesn't play in a game at all is perfect-it doesn't becouse it's sort of a ending song, the song of Niko in home, so it has nothing to do with world machine etc. It's the same reason why you can't see Niko's mom, or scene where she comes back home in a game-because it's outside the game and world.

I just played oneshot 6 days ago and did solstice, and now oneshot cant get out of my mind.. im really suprised that oneshot didnt make me forget. and its making me tear up at osts, i have never cried over osts but oneshots ost are diffrent than other games, which makes it my personal best games, though i couldnt revisit oneshot and couldnt feel the same when playing oneshot again..
SPOILERS after seeing niko return home through your desktop, i felt so sad, because even though hes safe and sound... i wont be able to see niko anymore, i know he will remember me and ill remember him but... god i still miss him, i just wished i could send him letters or something at least, to let him know im still alive and still remember him..
What if, every once in a while, when you open the game and wait, you can get updates on Niko? Niko might come back to the spot where they left the room and you can hear them. They either remember the spot and try to communicate with you (which fails), or you hear them playing with friends.
