I got so pissed at the owner who poisoned his customer. He may have put someone's life in danger, but all he cared about was how this would make his restaurant look. Telling tge crew to turn off the cameras and consuming alcohol were the first things he did, and it's sickening.

Thing is, she is a customer, and she's paying for the food, and the order was according to her preferences, so...when you lie to a customer for something they are paying for, yeah, sounds like a breeding ground for a lawsuit
Actually, people can be severely allergic to meat which is why some people are vegetarian or vegan - if they'd found the wrong person, they could have possibly been in a lot of trouble.
That's why he asked if the person vomiting had the tomato stuff - if they list it as a vegetarian sauce, they definitely shouldn't be putting meat products in it. They can get in serious trouble for it.

Gordon always exaggerate his dislike for vegetarians but he seems to care enough to get upset about something that anybody who doesn't respect vegetarianism would consider as trivial

i don't think it's vegetarians in general, i've only seen him dunk on vegans trying to force their lifestyle on him and other people
Because he doesn't let his personal views get in the way of business. If you want to list vegetarian items on your menu then they have to be vegetarian. Imagine if it was a Jewish or Muslim person who'd ordered vegetarian food because they weren't sure if the kitchen was halal/kosher and they find out it has pork in it. You'd have a lawsuit. Also it brings doubt into the kitchen, if they don't disclose that information then they don't have an understanding of disclosure in food prep. You could kill someone with anaphylaxis if you don't disclose certain allergens. It's just another metric that shows they have no idea how to run a kitchen.
Because some people are vegetarian because of internal issues, digestive issues, people can get actually sick from eating meat🤷
