Great video. I recently purchased a DeWalt battery converter for my Dyson. Not the same as buying a new Dyson battery but the process was the same. Your video showed exactly what I needed to know.

Very helpful video. Just to educate your viewers who are not familiar with Dyson. The run time for standard suction is 40 minutes. I rarely use the Max suction mode with a run time of 8 minutes. Great vacuum!

hi thank you very much for your video I received a Dyson V4 and the battery could only last maybe 15 seconds so I went to eBay and I purchased the battery there I literally just installed the battery and and I'm just waiting for the battery to charge thanks again

Checking in before taking these exact steps. I’ve seen videos (probably from ppl shilling for Big Vacuum 😂) that claim these “off brand” batteries die in a matter of months (not several years of rigorous use like the Dyson OEM batteries do).

My dyson pulsates. I've cleaned the filters. I've checked for clogs. It's getting worse and worse, so I'm thinking it's the battery. Does that sound right? It pulsates and then shuts off. I have to wait a second to start vacuuming again. So I run it over the floor a few times and then stop. Run then stop. It's so sad. I'm disappointed it hasn't lasted longer. I guess batteries don't last that long. Do you think a new battery would fix this problem?
This make sound crazy but my Dyson battery died the very day this video came out.
I purchased that replacement battery and now the Dayson V8 will NOT run on high. It just works on low speed. HELP!
I had an issue with the battery not lasting long enough but it turned out that the vacuum filters needed to be cleaned.
Right up until Dyson builds an rfid chip into their battery that prevents you from buying a generic battery.... Looking at you GE fridge water filters
Where to order a new battery
Same issue here. Bought from Amazon 2 of 6000 mAh. Original one was 1900 mAh. Two from Amazon are cheaper than an original one.
a dirty filter will affect the battery working...also on mine, if you remove the filter it will not run without it
I have to Dyson DC62 and I have replaced every part on it! The only original part is the long metal tube! 🤣

I have the same vacuum and it is a total piece of garbage. The first time I used it the battery lasted two minutes. I tried calling Dyson at least ten times and they never answered their phone. I spent a ton on a total piece of garbege
QVC said the battery lasts up to forty minutes. I will never buy a Dyson product again. That vacuum you have just like mine totally sucks.
dyson is overpriced junk..I vacuumed an area carpet with my 900.00 dyson vacuum..did it twice, real slow in all directions..and because I HATE the machine..hubby bought it....I went out next day and bought a Bissell ...redid area carpet and was absolutely SHOCKED at the amount of stuff it got out of that carpet
