    3.5-4 cup water
    Let it boil
    add 2 inch of peeled, sliced or graded ginger. Cover the lid and let it sit for 5min
    then drink it empty stomach or 15 min before every meal.

      I'm doing Water , Lemon first thing in the morning before anything else, I use a mason jar or a coffee jar and let it steep overnight in the Water, but I am definitely going to try it with a Piece of Ginger in it.

    I have been using Apple Cider Vinegar, very hot water and a half-teaspoon of grated fresh ginger ( ready to use, store in fridge after opening ). I was experimenting with something to make the vinegar more palatable without
    the added calories of sugar. It’s actually been pretty good for helping me lose a few pounds that crept on after
    retirement. First thing in the morning works for me. ☕️

      Use a straw to take your vinegar to avoid it touching your teeth, otherwise it will erode your teeth. Too much vinegar causes osteoporosis

      Get some stevia to add some sweetness (it's NOT sugar). And it makes your ACV taste more like apple juice. Forget the straw idea, swish your mouth with water (and you can add a pinch of baking soda for more alkaline water to swish).

    I smoked for 50 years and drank excess beer for at least 35 years. I completely stopped doing both in February this year. I now eat healthy and exercise but the weight isn’t moving. I’m now going to try this ginger water, so I’ll let you know how it goes. I want to lose 15 kg.

    Hi guys. Here’s a brief update on how I’m going, for those who are interested. I’m still not drinking beer or smoking cigarettes. I drink ginger water twice a day and exercise for an hour a day. I’ve lost 11kg already and the exercising has become so much easier. I’m changing from losing 15 to 20kg. It’s gunna be a piece of cake 😁👍🏻🇦🇺

    My adult daughter has cerebral palsy and periodically has trouble with slow digestion. After hearing this I found some ginger capsules that can be taken 3x day. I started putting 1 in with her tube feeds and I think it has been helping her. She’s not good with extra fluids but I also give her teas that seem beneficial to her. 😊

      Read The Magnesium Miracle-I have mild CP and magnesium glycinate has helped with spasticity. It’s not exactly a miracle, but I had no idea that everyone needs magnesium, CP kids are deficient in many nutrients at birth, and it definitely makes it easier to stretch, Magnesium is responsible for some 300 functions.     I have tried your lemon, olive oil, honey and cayenne. I feel energized by it. I also press between and above my 2 toes it releases pain immediately and helps you sleep. My ankle has been killing me. It’s hard to fall to sleep. As soon as I did the pressing for 30 seconds my pain went away. Ahhh nowI can sleep. Thank you Dr Mandell your a life saver I love you🥰

    So true. I've been drinking ginger water for 1 1/2 years and it works. If you drink it by itself, to me, it tastes like plain water. The exercise and diet does help.

    My best morning drink is similar to this. The only thing I do is add 1-2 Tbs apple cider vinegar, along with the honey, lemon, and ginger. It makes my morning start off better. I love this drink. Dr Mandell you are a blessing to all of us. Thank you for your videos.

      @@philisbramlett6890 Yes. I had that problem. Gotta get that tummy right first. Ginger is a fire herb so if you have ulcers, cuts, tears, sores in the tummy/intestines you will feel it and you will not like it obviously. I suggest juicing potatoes for a week it will coat your tummy so it is able to heal..eat sensibly of course and meditation is a natural plus. Good Luck to you!

    I love the fact that you don't take a long time to get to the punch line. People just want to know what needs to be done. Instead of making someone listen to all that info before telling them that all they have to do is this basically. Which makes it non interesting and discouraging.     This is very true for me. I’ve always had a flat belly, but after my 40s I started weight gaining around my belly but it was more bloating than fat. I started drinking ginger honey and lemon every morning and it’s been 3 weeks and my bloating has gone down!

      I really want to try this but I'm nervous because it's mentioned if you're on blood pressure pills that it can lower it more. Do you use it just in the morning? Maybe that's the safe way for me to go is just once a day. I find I'm bloated every time I eat and I'm in my 40s and I never had this problem quite as bad as it is now.

    Ginger is also great for migraines. 1/4 tsp to make ginger tea + honey. Migraine pressure/aura goes away within 15-20 minutes. It works like a charm!

    I been using the ginger in a shaker since I couldn't find a supplement. I can say if it doesn't help then it doesn't hurt. My digestion does seem better after 60 days. I take cinnamon and garlic too. Walk 4 miles a day. Went from 300 to 230 but it is a lot of work and you can't give up you have to stay with it come hell or high water!

Nutrition is very important when it comes to fixing the eyes...lots of foods which contain lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin c, vitamin a, omega 3 fatty acids. The eye workouts will help to increase blood flow, in and around the eyes and will help to keep the eye muscles strong. Also, try and limit the amount of time the children are looking at screens such as phones, iPads etc. Consistency is the key when it comes to eye nutrition and eye workouts....do the workouts a few times a week and ensure the eyes are fed on a regular basis.     I keep fresh ginger root in my freezer so I always have it on hand, I also dehydrate it so I have it to cook with or take in capsules. You can grate up frozen ginger root really easily. It doesn't loose it's taste at all. I imagine all the oils and beneficial chemicals are fine when frozen. I made homemade gingerale with it and it turned out delicious.

      You are absolutely right. He is also using ingredients that you can just buy at the store. I get so sick of Internet videos that I have to listen to 30 or 45 minutes worth of junk just to find out at the end that the doctor producing the video wants me to buy something from him. And they always say they are about to tell me the important information and then go on with something else and waste my time.     One of my African co workers gave me this exact recipe when I was having respiratory issues and it really helped. The only other ingredient I added was 1/2 teaspoons of clove. This is some good stuff. 👍🏽

    Not only live longer but live better - without physical ailments. Getting sick when you are old is pure hell. Hence eating well and exercising properly are key to a good life when you are old. I also recommend people do Qi Gong exercises to promote good circulation and keep up good energy flows.

      I've used both bt i prefer fresh ginger more, i grate and add to boiling water for abt 5mins then i sieve in a cup and squeeze a lemon and then I drink it warm. First thing in the morning and just before i Go to sleep. When I'm offdays, I drink two more cups during the day as well.

    I screwed myself up very bad taking Kratom for pain from some type of inflammation and muscle spasm disorder no doctor can figure out for the last 10yrs.. I am constantly bloated, cannot go to the bathroom at all. I started drinking fiber and lemon water every morning. I drink about a gallon of water a day, I prefer water or tea over anything else..
    I'm going to make this tea tomorrow morning and start with lemon and a tad of honey.. Thanks sir, just subbed because you were put in my recommends! Finally YT sent me something good.. Changing to a vegetarian diet as well.. I had to go on opioids for the pain because I just couldn't live anymore for the last year..     Reading some of the comments regarding the time frame for belly bloating + fat loss. Well Doctor is right. If your already active and have had a wedding or birthday parties come where you've ate like an animal lol then yes drinking this ginger tea will get you back on track within 72hrs. However, if not active and have proper belly fat built over years, obviously by drinking it for 2-3 weeks regularly along with being active will reduce the belly fat and bloating. In short let's just use our common sense which obviously doesn't come common enough 😊 Consistency is the key and eating in moderation along with this ginger tea as mentioned in the video. Hope this helps too

    He is right. I tried this remedy many years before. Now i m going to start this again. This remedy is also good for common cold, cough and sneezing. I cured my allergy with this ginger lemon water. Thanks to remind me again sir

    In my local setting in Ghana, mostly when a woman gives birth she is given ginger, anise and or cloves mixed tea to help reduce ur tummy size immediately after birth..it works

    Will definitely start this at 57 i am sick and tired of diets that work then you go back and eat normal but include more vegetables and the weight comes back so Dr i will start your way and stay away from fried foods as much as possible

      I am drinking ginger tea/water everyday since I was in college before I sleep and when you woke up you will feel very light
