The "you can flip a dice to the opposite side" mechanic is very clever. It's utility is highest with your worst rolls, has little impact on your middling rolls and has no impact on your high rolls...
We played this game a couple of times. It´s a really nice game and alot of fun! After playing several games of "A Game Of Thrones" and allways ending up in getting angry at each other... This game is very great because you can only win by playing as a TEAM! Love your VIDEO! Its great Greetings from Germany
I sympathize with Nikki and the equipment board.... I did the same exact thing. So frustrating lol. And you guys were originally correct with the space on the board for the event cards. The deck goes on the board, it’s not the discard pile. Not that it matters that much anyway lol
Also I think it would be awesome if Nikki would start doing a 'Jim from the office stare' into the camera when someone ticks her off. Lol. We feel your pain!
Yes, love Aaron's Bluth's t-shirt! "There's always money in the banana stand!" I recently purchased two Fantasy Flight Games- they seem to be pretty consistent with the quality of their games.
@ about 1:20 there is talk of wheather the FOG is activatet when passing through... If the HERO decides to end his move in a land which holds a FOG TOKEN, the FOG will be "activatet"... If the HERO decides to walk through a land in which a FOG TOKEN lays (and does not end his move on it) - the FOG will not be "activatet" So you are able to just walk over foggy land without activating the FOG TOKENS :-)
@DerChrisseman- Nikki and Lincoln played togetehr but it did not mean they necessarily played it solely as a 2 player...maybe they did and took 2 roles each, maybe they played it with others
Been thinking of buying this game to play with the family--your play through of the introductory scenario was enjoyable. Nikki, you need to learn a slap maneuver when those guys talk over you. Express yourself! Great vid, thanks to all of you.
Great ep as always. One suggestion, have you considered taking a still pic of stuff (in this case, the player board) and then at the appropriate time show it on the screen for us to see? Like when discussing Willpower , etc. thanks!
Great game and I love the way you guys play, but I'm pretty sure you lost the game when that gor entered the castle. Read the legend card that states that rule and it will say that if you have no more shields left, you lose. Only just played this game yesterday and had the same thing happen to my party of heroes. Looking forward to beating it so we can advance to the next legend. Greets from Belgium
This one Gor can enter the castle. The shield on the left means, that he can be defended by the fortress. If there was another gor, then, they would have lost the game.
00:30 "If you already stand at the merchant you may buy at any time, even it is not your turn." I don't think you had to wait. legenden-von-andor (dot) de/en/faq/generelle-fragen/
Am I missing something in the rule book that says you may add up the numbers on the dice of two+ players? The version I have says you may only use one die, but you add up strength points. You guys seem to add up the throws of the players dice as well. :S
This is a great game & I love how the rules are presented!! It does take some a bit to get used to the fact that the game is a puzzle game and not a scorched earth/kill everything that moves sort of game. House ruling away the time track rules (defeated monsters) would mess up the pace of the game and make it much much easier to beat; essentially breaking the game imho. The game does get much harder outside of the first few training missions. Still have not defeated the final dragon:o(
Advancing the time track after each defeated monster feels a bit artificial. I'd probably like to houserule that away so we could fight all of the things.
I think it works well if you think of it as a narrative thing. "Legends of Andor" is intentionally very storylike. IMO it makes sense that whenever the heroes look like getting on top of the enemy something bad happens.
I don't quite get what the benefit is to the archer being able to roll one dice at a time. Doesn't everyone else just roll all the dice and go with the best?
looks quite a good game - plus points - a game with a built in tutorial level/s interesting that console/video/pc games are influencing boardgames....simple to grasp battle mechanics negative points - I did not like the predictable movement aspect of the monsters which turned it more into a puzzle than a game - maybe some random ai for movement is too complicated to implement fairly in this case
Many people in this world still love boardgames and having something you know called social interaction with other human beings in person. You should look into this. Wikipedia it if you have to.
Yeah... I get the joke and all but will still point out that most board games allow for offline play with others, aren't based on twitch reflexes, and don't include microtransactions or DLC. Oh, or lootboxes. That last part excludes some like M:TG and LCGs.
I bought a copy of this game after watching your playthrough. Keep up the gaming gold :-)
Great presentation of a great game. Was enjoyable watching your gang having fun !
This was amazing. Also, I'm very happy the fog was discovered at the end. I was staring the tokens going, "OMG. PLEASE FLIP THEM OVER."
Great videos. Keep up good work. All of you are giving a positive emotions to viewers.
Just got this for Christmas. Looks very fun!
how is it?
@SIMULATEDPLAYBOOK Definitely fun. We just have the final stage left. It's a nice thematic puzzle:)

The Skrillex!!! 😂😂😂 I'm dying!

want to see you play it again :)

Even if u need to go 3 dpaces its more effektive to gob1 by one. Because the for has good stuff that letsbu move
u forgot to move the white figure one.. after finishing the day ;) it was round about 1:12:00

Tje blue hero is the fastes because of extra moves with willpower and he gets more of that with the wells
38:00, that accent was awesome. :D
I enjoyed this play=through
Great game guys might look at getting this one day
Is it just me or does Lincoln look like Geddy Lee? Hmmmmmm.

I didn't think this game was great, glad to find out I'm wrong. Thanks guys and gal
Not my kind of game personally but it was certainly entertaining and felt like I learned all about the game. Thanks for that!
yes, very sure. you dont stop becouse of the fog. If you do you have to reveal it though.
00:30 "If you already stand at the merchant you may buy at any time, even it is not your turn." I don't think you had to wait. legenden-von-andor (dot) de/en/faq/generelle-fragen/
More andor Videos please
The varcher is really good nin the castle because it can fight adcaent Monsters.
PS. You may already know the fog token rule was a misprint. You only need to reveal a fog token on the space you end your turn on:o)
Am I missing something in the rule book that says you may add up the numbers on the dice of two+ players? The version I have says you may only use one die, but you add up strength points. You guys seem to add up the throws of the players dice as well. :S
***** I have the 999 games version (Dutch) but it an also be that I didn't read very well ;) I'm more of a play-it-immediately person. :P
You sure? They read the rules in the beginning and it sounded like you do have to stop at fog and reveal the token.

you dont have to stop though at the foggy things. you missread that.

The warrior is really a wizard or scholar.
30:00 *sorry
Still need to get this game!
The last move was wrong because u have szop at fog
I don't quite get what the benefit is to the archer being able to roll one dice at a time. Doesn't everyone else just roll all the dice and go with the best?
Let's not get this messed up my friends, this game gets a lot harder depending on the legend you play. It's a great game, but it's difficult, as well.
Hey, play Adventurers! =P It will be funny see who is more greedy...
Teen Battle? That can only mean one thing: Dance Fight!!
The monster will forever be known as Skrillex. :)
wub wub wub wub wub
Nikki is cute.
Jeff Wise Much needed eye-candy at the sausage party.
Jeff Wise she actually appeared happy this time -she seems like one of those people who are happy but rarely show it
Thanks for some one saying it, Iroh.
Is the audio off to anyone else?
And lo, our heroes defeated Skrillex and there was much rejoicing.
I have a wonderful question... what are you guys always drinking?
That seems like it would ruin the whole time mechanic and also artificially inflate your characters with gold/willpower.
Lol, Aaron bossier than normal. Must be something about that chair.
Yor sound is totaly out of center and noisy... :(

This game is gorguess, but i hated playing it, i stole some of the components and binned it lol
The game is great but that one guy in the blue is a control freak!
There's this new thing called video games they've been out a long time like u guys

+Mark S it was only a joke I still like some board games...

Dude stop shouting in the chicks ear!
Can Nikki be not married? :) so hot
