I'm new to this channel & love these Game Night videos.I watched the playlist in 2 or 3 days.I used to play board games years ago.I don't have them anymore & don't know anyone else who likes playing them so watching this (and Tabletop) is a way for me to scratch that itch. You guys seem to learn new games really quickly.I guess if you're doing that regularly you become adept at it.I would be the clueless one at the end of the table, especially with Shadowrift - that seemed complicated to me.
I agree with patton1138. If the SG won't accept your bribe to change things, bribe somebody else to abstain. You only need 1 other abstain vote for it to not pass in a 4 player game.
Maybe, if the secretary general is decided randomly, then the 4th, 5th or 6th player have less chance to loose the bulk of money, by the time they got the hammer. Also, the secretary general may not pull goal tokens for that round, so he or she have to concetrate to other players brides, and the secret goal. By this way, he or she can take more from the others, because it don't cause him or her to loose points.
I must say that even that I am not particularly fond of negotiations, I found this game quite amusing. Sure watching and playing a game isn't the same but I think i could like this one. Thanks for this Game Night :) I might actually prefer when you play some less known games especially when their good.
Exactly what I thought, get the other players to shoot the bill down, with 1-2 or even 3 influence, to save some. Look for allies to shoot down a bill.
Even though it's a "light" negotiation game, Dave should have been more aggressive in negotiating with others to abstain voting, when it needs 3 to pass. Out of the whole game, only one abstained from voting, and that was Aaron early in the game. I believe when he was SG.
This video helped me to understand the game & how it's played. For whatever reason I couldn't make sense of the game's rulebook & how it worked.
i really like everyone but Dave is my favorite :D keep up the good videos guys

Damien, I found it on the redbubble site. They have some other awesome IT Crowd themed shirts there as well.

is it weird that i decided to watch a episode at random and this game based on it's title sounded the most fun

at 29:15, is Lincoln swapping his -2 and -4? this configuration would be in his favor, increasing his net yellow points from 5 - 4 = 1 to 5 - 2 = 3.

Can you guys play space cadets because I would like to see that in action or even among the stars
Love this game!
Cool game...nice job with demo

You guys should have played the variant you were talking about. The game felt really short and I wanted to watch more gameplay.
Can strongly recomend Space Cadets, cannot recomend among the stars, felt to much like an inferior variant of 7 wonders for me.
"Soviet Union", Dave?! :P
