This video is perfect for anyone considering a move to Kansas City! The mix of vibrant neighborhoods and family-friendly suburbs sounds ideal. Can't wait to explore these top spots and see which one fits my lifestyle best. Thanks for the great guide!"
Very cool! I was in Gladstone the other day and love the Penguin park, probably near where you grew up. And, I love Liberty! My daughter went to a softball camp at William Jewel. She was sooooo discouraged and ready to quit but we gave softball one last shot and went to their camp and the players and staff there revolutionized her mindset and now she pitches in college. The people make great communities for sure.
I don't recall ever mentioning Kate in any of my videos. This channel is all about Kansas City and the metro area. But, thanks for watching. I hope you enjoy.
You may not be able to talk about crime, but I have been a resident in KC since 1976, first in KC (80th and Troost area), then Less Summit, now the Liberty area. I try to avoid KC proper - South of the river. There is a reason that KC is in the top 10 big cities for violent crimes. The Chief's Super Bowl celebration is a prime example. Most suburbs are safer, but the crime is moving out of the city.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and observations about living in various parts of Kansas City over the years. Curious what your favorite things are about Liberty. I need to spotlight your area in the future. You are correct. As a Realtor, I must adhere to certain guidelines that prevent me from discussing specific crime statistics. However, knowing that safety is a major concern for residents and potential homebuyers, I continuously recommend checking reliable sources and website to find the most current and detailed information about safety in different neighborhoods/areas. I love our city, as so many people do. Being informed always helps people make great decisions about where to live. I appreciate your engagement and hope you continue to find fun and valuable info on my channel.
@@anitacordelllivinginkansascity I worked in downtown KC before I retired. LIberty is so much easier than Less Summit. The airport is 20 minutes away, there are all of stores you need close. The schools are good, and it has been pretty safe.
I love, too, that Liberty is closer to the airport and you miss the downtown route. (I like the less trafficked routes myself. LOL) And, YES, I hear so many great things about the famlies that go to Liberty schools.
Oh yes. There is certainly more about Parkville that I didn't mention. i may need to do a whole short series about that amazing city. And, Park University is GREAT. My daughter has played them in college ball and we've always enjoyed our time at the games. I love it.
Wheres Kate? Where's Loius n Charlotte? AND I JUST WANT TO POINT OUT THE HEIR TO WILLIAM HAS BEEN SEEN OUT IN PUBLIC. What really happened to the nanny? What really happened to Kingston?
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I often include my personal experiences to provide more context and a unique perspective that might help others see the value and charm of different places in Kansas City through a resident's eyes. Often, I get asked about my experience, so in this video I wanted to share a little of my history. However, I understand that everyone has different preferences for content, and I'll keep your preference for more general information in mind for future videos. Thanks again for watching and for your comment! Have a beautiful day. :)
I appreciate your opinion, however I have to disagree. There are many opportunities for employment. Case in point, I had a recent client move here from Las Vegas. They loved the area and decided to just take a shot and within 2 weeks, both had jobs and they were able to purchase a home off of that income. Also, there are multiple headquarters here. Hallmark, Cerner, Sprint. and soon to be a large base for Meta and Google. If those don't appeal, there are development plans in and around Lenexa, etc. I would have to disagree with your assessment. I do hope you find something if you are looking
I’ve lived here most of my life and worked in IT for over 20 years. Cost of living is lower than a lot of other states, and depending on where you work, pay can be pretty good. I’ve lived over seas when I was younger and lived and visited other states as well, so I can comment on cost of living comparisons. KC is growing and there are a lot of things to see and do. The parts that have the farmland would be western KS.

This was a great video!! I've lived in Independence, Blue Springs and now Lee's Summit.
Awesome. So, I'm sure you were happy when I mentioned Lee's Summit. I hope you are enjoying it.
You have been right on about Kate since I started watching you

This a good list. There is more about Parkville. It lies on the banks of the Missouri River. It the home of the beautiful Park University.

WHY would ANYONE move to KC? ZERO as in ZERO industry (no work unless you’re a farmer!)
LOL! Not true.
