- In this video tutorial I show my pro Lightroom editing workflow for converting and creating dramatic black and white images on my iPad. I show how I use profiles, exposure and contrast adjustments and selective editing to create moody, low-key and high contrast images along with my top tips for shooting better mono images, including using both RAW and JPEG files.
I'm working away from home so this week's video is a little more rough and ready (and there's a bit of annoying electric noise at one point), but I hope this video is still useful.

Great video, I’m getting into photography and this is the same style I lean towards.
Thank you, Andrew for another wonderful video. I’m downloading Lightroom to my new iPad now. Have a wonderful time in London.
Excellent point about using the profiles vs presets!
Great tips and information, thank you so much. I love using my Ipad for editing, the screen is amazing and thanks to Apple for introducing it to their range.
Great tips so looking forward to trying some out with my new iPad thank you.
Brilliant
Do you feel like you get the same results from editing on the iPad compared to using a computer?
Absolutely. The algorithms lightroom uses are identical on all platforms so I get the same results on desktop, ipad or phone.
@@AndrewLanxonPhotography I've long used Silver Efex; it would be spectactular if DXO offered it for iPad.
