  • In this video I show an easy way to focus stack your images so you can get a sharp image from the foreground to the background.
I will use Lightroom to organise my photos then export to Photoshop.
Don't be daunted by Photoshop as I was at first, this isn’t too complicated, so give it a go. 😊😊

Nice n easy. Thanks Steve. The only additional steps I take are: a) do any basic editing (no masks) and de-noising, applying edits across the 3 images before sending them to Photoshop, and b) to flatten the layers in Photoshop before saving the merged photo. Depending on the number of stacked images you have, the resulting TIFF file could be absolutely massive without layers flattened.

This deserves more views and likes, Stephen. Very simple, clear instructions, and exactly the same method I use.

This was excellent, i'm a relative newbie to photography and whilst i've got my head round lightroom I find photoshop a bit more daunting. Focus stacking is something i've wanted to learn and this is the best video i've come across on the subject.

I’m pleased it was helpful 😊 I stayed away from Photoshop for a while too when I first started but with a bit of practice it got easier 😅

Steve that was great mate. Sadly I only have Lightroom mobile which doesn’t do the stacking 😢
