Use a big magnet to get the last of the substrate. The iron in it with make it attach easily

Without doubt this is your best looking tank imo. Lush plants just give tanks that extra wow factor and fish always look better in planted tanks..to me anyways.😊

😍😀😍😀😍😀😍😀 what a tank .... the lush green heaven. the health of the plants is stunning and as everyone would notice medium to low light is causing next to zero algae......simply awesome.thanks for presenting this great video. I'll definitely like to see how this tank matures over 2-3-4-5 years

the dwarf sag slowing down is likely due to the nutrients in the aquasoil being depleted, if you start to notice nutrient issues like melting crypt leaves you can add root tabs and liquid fertilizer

@toxiccity-q...although the Sagittarius is a little slower than before , but Ive got a few thoughts about what I could recommend to the King but this is where I've just realized that all of the Incredible information I am sure glad to have retained is the info I read in The ULTIMATE DIY HAND 📙

Hey there Joey ! Here's an interesting idea! Magnets can be effective for removing particles that contain iron, which is often present in aqua soil. However, it's important to be cautious and ensure that the magnet you're using is safe for your aquatic environment and doesn't harm your aquatic plants, animals, or the overall balance of the tank.

on video the black aqua soil doesn't take away the aesthetic appeal, but the moss do. The lush leaves and grass are looking way better than the moss. I say, do regular moss maintenance and add more bleeding hearts😅

The trick for getting the soil out of the sand is a good magnet, the aquasoil has iron in it so a magnet will get it all out quick

i love this tank a lot; it's different and the fish are SO happy. I can't wait to see it in a few years. You could just create a mini island with new plants if you ever want something fresh.
I have so many bursting ideas lol

back when I had piranha I had a few batches over the years. most of the time I never had more than 4 at a time as my biggest tank was a 75 gallon. but I had one batch that I could throw in a bunch of feeder fish and the piranha would only eat when they were hungry. I would go and get more feeders about every 2 weeks. but that seemed like a special group. most of them would eat everything that went into the tank so I would have to feed them so they didnt eat too much.

Amazing tank and fish 😎🤙 If your substrate is soil or Akadama you can take it out with a strong magnet. Then you'll definitely catch it all.

I’m new to fish keeping……. But I could really use some help and the google search isn’t really giving me my answers. I set up a 30 gallon freshwater tank and did the cycle and I had fish for about 6 months and they died…. So I did a water change about 50% and I waited awhile and tested the water and got two more fish.. those fish died with 2-3 hrs and i acclimated them and everything…. So again I did a water change waited awhile and been dosing beneficial bacteria. Tested the water and it was all great… bought another fish and it died again but this time it was around 3-4 hrs. I cannot figure out why this is happening. Someone please help
