Yo man , happy to see your videos, I’m back in the hobby after depression, I’m on a big project, gonna turn my house into a tropical forest , starting with my bedroom and my fish tank , I remembered your videos and this give me the inspiration to get back at it . 🎉🎉
I feel ya.. cause I still suffer depression an anxiety. So what i do is keep my mind busy Or dive in to big projects or learn new thinks ect This hobby is great for that. Good to see back in this facinating hobby.

Idea for the tank!? The left lower 6 or 8 inches that is white (under glass) Needs a log, rocks or aqua decor strip.

Scape looks really good. Only thing would be having the bubblers more in the back, but that's really minor. All I'll guess on new fish is SAmarican ciclids of one kind or another!

My guess for fish to be added,10-12 clown loaches for the bottom of the tank and maybe some kissing gourami's or black banded leporinus if you can find them.
Get a green terror cichlid. I’ve had one for 3 years now and he’s such a fun fish to keep tons of personality and an absolute stunner of a fish

Hey Joey, love your vids. Good editions to the 2,000 gal. would be Jack Dempsey & Red Devil cichlids & to add shimmer and movement, silver dollars or red hooks.

I love that new Oscar! Also, you asked what you were thinking of doing with the tank. I think it needs to have a little more light to the back too. It will show off your babies better. You can't see the arrowana very good when he swims to the back. As well, the aerators seem to separate the fish and make the tank look smaller where they're at. Maybe move them back a bit. Sorry, you asked us.☺️ I really love what you do with your tanks. You're awesome!! Keep going.

A group of True Parrot Cichlids (Hoplarchus psittacus) would look awesome in the 2000gal.
I’d like to see some blues/greens in there. Perhaps Geophagus Surinamensis.
I would add a few more oscars creating a whole pack of them.
I wouldnt add any plastic plants at all.
Just hardscape.
And i agree that the bubbles should be more in the back as others mentioned.
For fish
Perhaps a school of silver dollars.
A small group of Metynnis or Myleus would look nice and they should do well with your Astronotus.
That decor reminds me of yours gold fish tank.., and if I want to add next cichlid I would add blood parrots .
Looks awesome except the air bubbles. I would move them to the back or better yet get a nice Sicce power head or 2 for movement and air.
Put rocks around the bubbler on the left to hide it a bit

Or go central and get a nicaraguan cichlid, one of my favourites, i just need a tank suitable for em. O.o or albino heckelii

Loving the asian arowana+american cichlid community. How about adding electric blue jack dempsey (or natural jd), green terror, cuban cichlids, something along those lines, colorful and semi-aggressive but not larger than the oscar??
I remember Joey bought 6 ocsar babies a few years back. Now they all have grown up beautifully. But there are only 5 of them in the tank, where is the other one?

Green Texas get pretty big and have really nice colour also maybe a starry night the white spots and the eyes would pop in the tank
I’ve been watching this channel since you built the 2000, that build was the second video i watched! I really like this scape! And i too enjoy the bubbles! haha
I know you’re planning on adding more fish.. personally i like when there are just a few big fish with a lot of swimming space! But i would love if you added a few smaller cichlids that don’t make the tank look too crowded! Or maybe a pair of Jaguar Cichlids, or cool oddballs that will stay in and around the wood, like a Black Ghost Knife, or Fire Eel!

Love the new addition; my only qualm is can you film the behaviour for longer when you add the next fish. I love watching new arrivals settle in and the tank mates getting used to them

I think the plants look awesome. If your still not sold on them buy another smaller type that fits the scape and add them as well. Maybe they don’t look as good as you want because it’s just one type of plant! Keep up the awesome work Joey, I’ll be on the look out for my next notification! 😂

I think the scape looks great as it is. Like someone else mentioned, I'd probably just move the bubblers to the back corners.

It looks like they have accepted the little guy. If they don't start showing signs of aggression right away, they are good. At least that is my experience with Oscars. And my guess for the next fish you will be adding... Cuban cichlids. They are very rare in the North American fish keeping community, and they check all the boxes. They can be kept with severum, they are big enough to be kept with arowana, and they can compete with Oscars.
This is my kind of setup, no matter what people say, I opt for Ease of living for the fish over the natural looks
I know the rays have always known captivity and tank conditions but wouldn't it be worth trying some catappa leaves and other things to create a blackwater environment as a way to encourage breeding? 🤔

I have 4 albino super reds I'm wanting to get rid of they are the extra from me getting a pair. I'm in IL. They are a great size also and look great and they love to eat lol

Nice addition. I do like the plants. They bring some vertical visuals, which it needed i think. So a little posturing when he got added but looks good. Id be curious how it's going after a few days.
