    Something is off with your front end vehicle dynamics. More than half the turns you're catching the car immediately after turn in even without power. You turn in and then unwind the wheel about half then reinitiate the turn. It's costing you more than a few seconds on track.

    The problem with the Type R is that it was developed for track, but it's getting matched by a car that wasn't designed for track, that was designed for the rally stage. The Type R also can't launch in any scenario and it's front wheel drive, so simply unable to perform in the wet. The GR is three times the car that the Type R is.

      What you haven't factored in is that the GR yaris is 2800lbs factory and this guy removed 100lbs on top of that. The type r is 3100lbs ... That's a whopping 400lbs difference between the two cars. Now let's looks at the power. GR yaris has been known to show 280whp while the type r factory makes around 290whp .

    Do you think you would be faster in the GR Yaris or CTR in dry conditions on this track?

    • @StottyZr
      @StottyZr  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My bet would be the CTR would be faster around Croft as it's a high speed flowing circuit, the CTR is more track focussed with wider 245 tyres and a much more stable platform due to the suspension differences. The Yaris thrives in tight corners and braking zones, so I'd expect would be quicker at somewhere like Blyton Park.

    • @yajohny
      @yajohny 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      because Yaris GR has limited max. speed (230km/h) and Nordschleife has few straight lines which requires unlimited top speed. So Yaris can't compete with Civic Type R on big rings where you need to go more than 230 km/h
