best part has to be the skyliner. the level of that hugeness cannot be underscored enough. the food is pretty weak, but i mean u can eat anywhere. and the rooms are small, but who's staying in the room other than to sleep? skyliner outweighs all the negatives.
We haven’t had any issue with the room size, but it’s just the two of us. We spent on evening just riding the sky liner around like an attraction. Lol. It is amazing, but it does NOT run if there is a storm in the area.
they should extend the skyliner.

We are here now. Coming up on our last night of a 9 night stay in the 50’s! It’s our first time staying here and we DEFINITELY will come back.
How was the check in process? Was it easy and do they check your luggage/bags? I'm staying there next month and love knowing what to expect lol
@@voidprincess755 I did do the check in online, but we didn’t have a room number when we arrived. We were told about 45min. Originally, we were given a room on the opposite side of the resort from where we wanted. I checked back with the CM at the desk and it was an easy switch with just another ten min wait. It really wasn’t bad at all. We explored the resort while we waited and the gift shop. There is plenty to keep you entertained while you wait (if needed) and you can swim. Some people in our bus from the airport were receiving their room assignments on the ride in.
@@terrymccormick611 awesome that sounds super easy. I've already done the online check in but I'm thinking about just going straight to the front desk anyway to make sure that all is well. Did they check your luggage? I'm going for an anniversary trip so it's easy to say there may be some things in my bag I don't want others seeing LOL
@@voidprincess755 No! No one ever looked in our luggage that I am aware of. Lol. They may enter your room at random times tho. We opted out of housekeeping and just did garbage and towel refreshers. Once the Mousekeeper walked right in the room before I could even get to it to answer. She made a point of directly asking my daughter ..”are you ok?” It was weird. The second time they were only picking up the trash that I handed her at the door. She pushed the door open and stuck her head in to check in my daughter, who was sound asleep We have been in the parks and gone most of each day and they came by at random times. It was awkward, but they say right in the disclaimer that they will do so.
Bonus! You can see the Epcot fireworks from some of the 4th floor balconies...they’re doing test runs right now!
What transportation did you take from pop century to animal kingdom? My first time going to Disney is in July I’m so excited
Stayed there in December and front desk cast member Veronica was so incredibly helpful! She went above and beyond many days of our 10 night stay! She really made it an amazing honeymoon for us! I am sure there are bigger and cooler rooms within the WDW properties, but at roughly $130/night nothing else was even close to that price!
This is the resort I've been staying at the most recently. The prices are reasonable and it's on the Skyliner which is a HUGE perk. Definitely have had a great time here.
Wow....the timing couldn't be more perfect. Exactly 2 years ago today, this is where I stayed for my birthday. Love it!
I actually love the value resorts for smaller kids. The designs makes it feel like a kids hotel.

She built a Robot and beat Molly in a challenge, there is nothing Quincy can't do....in fact they have named at least two towns after her Quincy, MA and Quincy Ill also a TV show "Quincy" as well as our 2nd president naming his son and 6th president after her John Quincy Adams.....these are all facts I tell you FACTS!!!!!!

I love this resort! Stayed there last month for the first time; got a preferred room cause mom didn’t want to walk to far to the lobby, restaurant or our room after a long day at the parks. We were in the 70’s building on the corner!!!
IMO this is the best resort for a short 2-person trip. You're not gonna spend all too much time in your room, you're gonna spend it at the park! So you don't need anything super lavish/expensive.
Although I will say the Murphy bed did trip my aunt and I up at first. The rooms didn't always have that, so when we first stayed there we thought there had been a mix-up and we only got one bed, but one call to customer service quickly cleared that misunderstanding up, haha!

Just stayed here! Our room was nice, clean, and up to date. The laundry room was horrible! Washing machines did not wring out clothes and the dryers shrunk my shoes. When I spoke to the front desk they told me the washing machines and dryers were from a third party and I would have to take it up with them. 🤣. I also ended up paying to dry someone else’s clothes again because people don’t promptly get their clothes. The running path was AMAZING! The skyline was nice but the long got long at times. There is also one stop before you can get to your final destination, so it takes longer than what one might think to get to where you are going. No work out room was a bummer. We stayed in the 60’s section by the pool. Very quiet. No complaints. Ext time I will stay at the Universal studios hotel. Much nicer and many more amenities!

Seriously love Pop Century. We stayed there in March, and the convenience of the Sky Liner, the hidden quiet pool, and Petals pool bar were sooo nice. For what you pay for your trip, this place is very much worth it.
That CM greeting guests when they arrive is the best. He greeted our Magical Express last February.

We've been here three times and found the Fifties area the best. Closest to the restaurant and the buses without the crowds.

Yeah, I'm staying in September and already did my pre check in. Maybe it's a misconception that it's 10 days in advance?
@@Katkit19 My family had a bad experience as did many others at Pop last week. They really have gone downhill since our last visit two years ago.
Brilliant, Quincy. I've heard that people DON'T like POP CENTURY, but I love it. I kinda love all the cheap Disney hotels, arrest me! They're clean, the theming is excellent (I'm no fan of sports but the sports theming is a lot of fun), and you're staying on Disney property!

Stayed there back in October 2019. Very nice resort. Not many frills but the skyliner makes it worth it.
I'll be back at WDW staying at the Caribbean Beach in September - October for the big five O

I'm staying here for six nights in August! I was always so worried about all the negative opinions of it that I have heard, but actually seeing it through this video, it really doesn't look that bad after all (never stayed before). Just goes to show you how subjective opinions in general, are.

We have only ever stayed at POR. My 15yr old and I both loved this resort. The sky liner is convenient and we shopped and got supper from Animation one night.
I love POP. WIith the redesign of the All Stars it's similar to POP in looks, but POP is larger. I wouldn't stay at All Stars with more than two people. You can do three people and POP, I just did. We were fine.

Quincy,... excellent job on hotel coverage. With hotels slowly opening up, we may have too adjust from our hotel favorites. This almost more important, than what's new in the parks.

You are on point on the resort food, its average ,pricey, but in Disney parks, all is pricey, I stayed on All Star 🌟 Music 🎶 and its basically the same as Pop Century in terms on rooms and decor, the only perk to choose Pop is the Gondolas, if not, stay on All Stars 🌟 Movies , is cheaper that pop , love your video , enjoy Fl 😉
When I go to Disney next year, this is where I plan to stay!

We love Pop...be there for the Dis reunion in Sept. Skyliner is huge plus....new rooms are neat and clean. Would rather spend our money on other things...room is to sleep!!
From Epcot area we didn’t have to wait at all for skyliner. In may. We just walked right on. It was great!!!
I love this resort! I think it would have been great to have a room themed to each decade, but, the rooms are so nice and the lobby has a wonderful smell. Going in August 2022 and I'm so excited. :)

I love this resort, I have stayed over 10 times, unfortunately I couldn’t book a reservation for it this year, I’ll be staying at all star movies this time, hope is just as nice.

I do miss a microwave!! We actually bought a small one and carried it in a suitcase when we were there for 5 nights in February! Disney needs to provide what most hotels do... even at value resorts. We love the pull down beds that give you the opportunity for space during the day. Room rates have been crazy...and there are MUCH better deals off property these days! We ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 the cheesecake! It's red velvet. I REALLY wish Disney would do the movies where you can swim and watch them like the cruises!

I LOVE this resort!! I’m a history person though and I take a nap during midday (I do have chronic fatigue so this is key for me). Still love this resort. It’s not for everyone though. No Disney hotel is one size fits all though.

Thanks so much for showing us drinks that are non alcoholic. Love molly but girl drinks a lot. Some of us really are dry families. One tip if you order ahead for a big family that you are taking back to your room take a bag to help you carry things in. I literally was handed three trays of food and I was by myself so it was not fun trying to carry that back to room.

Considering it takes about 30 minutes to take the skyliner from Pop to Epcot on a slow day, 50 minutes waiting at the Caribbean is not that bad.

I wish hotel reviews would show the full shower and whether or not there is a hand shower.
There is a rain shower at ceiling level and also a hand held shower. Love POP. Stayed there on all of my Disney World vacations.

I am staying there a week from today I am going to be there for 7 nights I'm getting excited
I stayed in Pop in april and it was really great for myself and a friend. we stayed in the 70’s building which was close to the sky liner, pool and lobby which was really great. Our room had a tub/shower combo. Honestly I think the newly renovated rooms are SO nice, but I also agree with Quincy, I don’t think the rooms would be nice with more than 2 people
I got a full shower. What is a tub shower?

They also let me check in at 6am in the morning. Since it was covid the capacity meant my room was ready

This is my preferred resort for my trips. As a solo act, it is comfortable and easy enough to get around. Generally ask for top floor in the 50's section.
Does the hotel have elevators?

I have never stayed at a Disney resort, but I might try this one. The hotel is mostly to recover from your exhausting day of sightseeing.
My favorite is usually an off-property pool home. Lovely to come home and relax in a private pool after a day at the parks. Full kitchen, of course, so more meal flexibility. And a MUCH better value in my opinion. We went with another family once--4 adults and 5 kids--and enjoyed a nice 4 bedroom home for approximately what 2 "value" resort rooms would have cost.
Would really like to see the food court options and prices for Pop & AoA now that things are back open. Any green veggies or fruit cups for the kids?

You actually do not have to wait for 10 days ahead anymore. You can do it as soon as you book your stay.
Is there not a fridge in the pop century rooms?
Yes, there is a fridge. With a see through door.

You can't walk around your hotel room without bumping into things? This is a real problem I should know about? I just stayed at Pop Century and I will let people know I did not bump into anything in my room. If I see a wall or bed coming I just sort of step to the left and walk around it.
I remember one time there and these people over us where stomping and I think there where kids SCreaming while I was trying to sleep 😐
This is my go to resort. Lets be real, we only go to the resort to sleep!
What about pool towels? Do they provide them ?
Would you be willing to do a video of walking from the poly to the grand floridian then to the MK, spend about 4 hours there, then walk back? And give us your feed back on walking time, crowds on the path vs other transport (boats, monorail when it's running), how you and your feet feel and if you think this is a better option?
