My SL7NW Celeron D (double the L2 cache of yours, and 400 more MHz) felt painfully slow in new games (if they ran at all) when I finally ditched it in 2012. Then again, in hindsight, it's adequate (or overkill) for many of my favorite PC games, as is your CPU. I still have it's motherboard, but it now houses a 3.2 GHz Pentium 4 that I got for less than $4 a couple years ago. Best value upgrade I've ever made.

Man this is awesome honestly, I want to start doing this myself once I'm a little bit more financially stable, after I move house (in about two months) I will grab some 40 usd pc's, throw gpu and some ram on them and try give them away, I'm a foreigner in the country I live and I'm still young (21) so I think that it would be a nice way to give to others, my system is great at the moment, R7 1700, 16gb ram and a 1070 Ti. I literally have 2xRX 570's and one GTX 750 Ti sitting here. What I am planning in doing is flipping all this newer HW I have and try get something older to try give away, there is a lot of people in need. Including other Expats.
I had that M5A97 board. That's a good board for the FX series. I think it tops out at an 85xx series CPU support tho, which gets you in the neighborhood of 4th gen i5 speeds.

I use a variety of keyboards ranging from mechanical, membrane, chiclet style, etc. Those Dell office keyboards are hard to beat for comfort and typing speed.
I want to get a mechanical keyboard but I use a logitech k120 because I didn't feel like spending above 50 bucks on something like that lol. It is a cheap keyboard but they still do their job well.
The thing that is most amazing to me is, how this soft speaking dude can inspire people to do the same thing he is doing with just one video. Kudos to you. Cheers from Costa Rica
