I swear that man could sing Mary Had A Little Lamb and I would buy it! They don't make em' like him anymore, I remember listening to him since I was a young kid, now it's like part of my childhood is gone.....sure is a shame, and I hate it!
Joe does a really good version of this song. He doesn't overpower it and respects the lyrics. Love this song and he has done it beautifully! Thanks for posting this.
Just once in my life I was litteraly moved to tears by music. It was during a life performance of this song by Joe Cocker in the "Ahoy" at Rotterdam. My God, that was really good.
Agreed, Joe has one of the best voices in all of music... But let's give credit to the song's writer. John Hiatt's version is simply mesmerizing! It starts out slow, with John clearly singing with ernest passion. As the song build to a climax, Hiatt's voice soars and dips and holds on to notes like no tomorrow. Best of all, his voice projects a feeling of urgency that only love can produce.... He's the real deal my friends!
you're both right...pretty fabulous to hear the "Jo-Man" do it...but no one is mentioning my favorite version...the one & only "Delbert"...McClinton... Poparoddy-Vancouver, Wa
I'd love to hear Joe Cocker do this, when he was still at the top his game. I remember him saying, in an interview, that he found it a very good song, though the times the writer requests to have a little faith could've been less!
I thought Jewel wrote this song for Phenomenon". I love Joe . Saw live in concert & he & his band are ranked up there as one of the top 20. I'm 50, so I am far more choosier than the most of you, unless you are 45-70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
besides the original one by hiatt, this is the best version of this song in my opinion! As only Joe Cocker could sing, altough the original is soulfful, ha a little more faith and feeling!
@rockatansky1990 Damn. I'm envious. I have trouble enough with 2. I knew that there had to be some background there, because you must know and appreciate music to even be on such a video in the first place. I respect your position and appreciate the same from you as well. "If music be the food of love, play on." - William Skakespeare. Favorite quote. Seems fitting. Play on my friend.
people want the best and most soulful version of this song listen to Hiatt's live version on "Live at Budakon" !!!! Just great, do something with yourself and look it up and give a listen.
that could be addressed to a lot of people these days couldn't it. could be one of the major reasons the divorce and separation rate is so high. without trust, commitment and faith are equal parts of each other to form this thing we call love. without each is like trying to drive a car with 2 flat tires.. faith just doesn't seem to come naturally any more. that sucks, don't it??
Miej we mnie trochę wiary Miej we mnie trochę wiary Miej we mnie trochę wiary Miej we mnie trochę wiary Kocham cię już od tak długiego czasu Nieczego w zamian nie oczekując Jedynie byś miała we mnie odrobinę wiary Wiesz że czas, czas nam sprzyja Podtrzymam cię, podtrzymam Twoja miłość daje mi wystarczającą siłę
Kiedy na drodze zapada zmrok I nic już nie możesz zobaczyć Pozwól mojej miłości rozniecić iskrę Miej we mnie trochę wiary A kiedy łzy, które wypłakujesz Są wszystkim w co wierzysz Daj szansę kochającym ramionom, dziecino Miej we mnie trochę wiary
Al Huggins: It's surely like this ! John Hiatt wrote it , but Cocker brought it to another level. Pity the drummer slices the end of the song to bore-rock-stew.....
It's great.. It has real meaning for some of us.... :) Sorry, no disrespect, but some of us older guys, take on a different view......just listen..... Joe`s cool
Miej we mnie trochę wiary Miej we mnie trochę wiary Miej we mnie trochę wiary Miej we mnie trochę wiary Kiedy twoje tajemnicze serce Nie potrafi wyrażać się tak łatwo Zacznij od szeptu I miej we mnie trochę wiary
who was that guy with the Polish last name? I hope you (Joe Cocker - if you as a video provider are not him, please send) support him.... now I have to go back to Am Id for the new stuff. Joe Cocker, always! :)
@DukeOfLizards86 i admit i did express myself a bit rough. i respect your opinion, even more, i somewhat agree with you. my personal opinion favours cocker. hiatt is unquestionably a musician with a wider sense for music. as for my musical education, i majored in piano and play six intruments. ;)
A kiedy stoisz plecami oparta o ścianę Odwróć się, a zobaczysz Że powstrzymam twój upadek Miej we mnie trochę wiary Miej we mnie trochę wiary Miej we mnie trochę wiary Miej we mnie trochę wiary Miej we mnie trochę wiary Kiedy na drodze zapada zmrok I nic już nie możesz zobaczyć Pozwól mojej miłości rozniecić iskrę Miej we mnie trochę wiary
Joe cocker has been a part of my life seems like for ever i am 66 still have his music blaring for ball in my car rest in peace joe sadly missed
Joe Cocker is and will remain one of the best voice in the business! ;-)
This is so moving it makes me realise how blessed I am that people put their trust and faith in me!
Times we all need a little show of confidence. Who knows better than old Joe!!
By JOE! a song to be sung by this genius of a singer.......sincerelee....
I swear that man could sing Mary Had A Little Lamb and I would buy it! They don't make em' like him anymore, I remember listening to him since I was a young kid, now it's like part of my childhood is gone.....sure is a shame, and I hate it!
Lately the tears I cry are all I can believe. I just sit here and listen for hours.
And when the tears you cry are all you can believe give these loving arms a try, baby and have a little faith in me
Joe does a really good version of this song. He doesn't overpower it and respects the lyrics. Love this song and he has done it beautifully! Thanks for posting this.
Joe sang with his very soul. This song was in "Benny and Joon" one of my favorite songs and films.
Just once in my life I was litteraly moved to tears by music. It was during a life performance of this song by Joe Cocker in the "Ahoy" at Rotterdam. My God, that was really good.
My father used to play a cassette tape of this song while our family was on a road trip among others such as Highwayman.
Best singer of our generation, to sing songs by such writers such as John Hiatt
RIP. An amazing voice. Thank you for the joy and thought you brought into my life.
Thank you Joe. R.I.P. A truly unique talent.....so much soul......true Yorkshire grit.
Dear Joe, thank you so much for all the joy you brought into my life. RIP
This man, this song and THE VOICE! OMG!
Although the world has lost an amazing person and artist, the skies have gained a brighter star for others to guide their dreams by.
It's a great rendition of what I consider a Joun Hyatt song...Well done Joe; your soul always touches me.

Grew up with the man and his music. Love'd him dearly..
You were loved by all! We will miss you Joe! RIP
Een geweldige zanger ,"vind ik Joe cocker met leuke filmpjes.( Best jammer dat er geen films van zijn.) " muziek films bedoel ik."

One of my favorites by the LATE GREAT JOE COCKER

Such a loss, and yes crying tears :-(
Delbert also did a good version of John Hiatt's song...as did many others...one of the best songs ever written...thanks Mr. Hiatt.
you're both right...pretty fabulous to hear the "Jo-Man" do it...but no one is mentioning my favorite version...the one & only "Delbert"...McClinton...

Great talent. RIP.

To my first love...you're the one who's always had faith in me. I love you baby!!!
Simply a request between honest loving people.
this song is so beautiful!
Have A Little Faith R.I.P. Joe
John Robert Hiatt’s(the author of the song) version is the best because it’s from deep inside his heart!
simply timeless! Love it

TWO INCREDIBLE ARTISTS
Miej we mnie trochę wiary
Miej we mnie trochę wiary
Miej we mnie trochę wiary
Miej we mnie trochę wiary
Kocham cię już od tak długiego czasu
Nieczego w zamian nie oczekując
Jedynie byś miała we mnie odrobinę wiary
Wiesz że czas, czas nam sprzyja
Podtrzymam cię, podtrzymam
Twoja miłość daje mi wystarczającą siłę
The best version
it is Hyatt's tune but Joe is so cool that it also belongs in his repertoire
Kiedy na drodze zapada zmrok
I nic już nie możesz zobaczyć
Pozwól mojej miłości rozniecić iskrę
Miej we mnie trochę wiary
A kiedy łzy, które wypłakujesz
Są wszystkim w co wierzysz
Daj szansę kochającym ramionom, dziecino
Miej we mnie trochę wiary
drippin an oozin with pure deep soul
Al Huggins: It's surely like this ! John Hiatt wrote it , but Cocker brought it to another level. Pity the drummer slices the end of the song to bore-rock-stew.....

Thanks. I'll check your suggestion.
John Hiatt is the man
close...but no cigar. Having said that more chance of a smoke than that Bon Jovi effort, what a travesty)...JH still the KING....
RIP
