I wonder what it would cost me for a pair 40' long? I want to start building a houseboat ASAP. Finding the floatation has been a impossibility and that's weird being I live in Florida. I really don't want to build fiberglass pontoons unless I become desperate.
Michael Wilson Thank you! We build them in 5' water tight sections and offer fuel, waste and water tanks that fit perfectly in the pontoon sections! They start around $15k but pricing can be influenced by an array of options!
How much would it cost to have 15 foot pontoons just two of them with this method I can't find any tube logs at a decent price just want a small pontoon for the river to fish
Filling the pontoon with any material would decrease buoyancy until the point in time when a ship wreck occurs then you might wish you had some buoyancy. But it seems a number of air tight compartments could be done in exchange for material.
It seems overly complex with too many welds and too many points of potential failure. Way too much labor, just build a larger round pontoon and get rid of all those welds and all those man hours.
Round pontoons are a lot simpler to build but don't always work for our applications. The shape we use also gives more flotation at more levels of submersion.
I would like to see more videos of this floating

nice job! What do you normally fill them with? Could you put fuel tanks in on each side as a space saver? How much do they cost to build?

@@roamermarineinc.6951 Is that 15k per log or 15K for the set?
As one work! Can you recommend a tig ride to use to repair a pontoon? Thanks
Mr. What machine that you used ? Are you using mig or tig for welding aluminium tube pontoon house boat.thank you.great video
Tig

Not adding any foam to those logs??
Awesome video. How thick the the aluminium you use?
We use several thicknesses depending on how they are going to be used and size.
Mr. What milimeter aluminium that you used to build pontoon,,thanks great video
We use all .125" other than the bottom of the nose cones use .25" for beaching
good
Guys, how thick this aluminum is?
No bracing internally what ever you'll call it gussets don't get hit sideways
What is the gauge and alloy used?
Do u need to use pu foam to fill the pontoon n increase buoyancy
No, we currently do not need to fill them with foam because we build them in 5' water tight sections.

Can it be built with steel instead of aluminum?
Of coarse it can but steel is heavier and more corrosion problem and need thicker material probably because of corossion.
There is no bulkhead between each section. There was no side or bottom guard either
If you look closely there is a water tight bulkhead every 5' and internal bracing between each bulkhead.
I am Tig welding Aluminium all positions 5 years experience India
Gulf experience 2 years
How much would a job like this cost, if someone just wanted to purchase the pontoons
Brady, selling just the pontoons is exactly what we specialize in! Check out our website and get ahold of us for a quick quote.
Можно купить проект? Или рабочий чертёж?
But slowly moving video 😂
