We use a 3D model of our pontoons for final approval with the customer. This process helps insure the fit of our product with the final build on location. The customer in this clip ordered a 55' set of our "Large" pontoons with a custom swim deck at the rear.

    Hello, I checked out the content on your TH-cam channel. Your channel's content is amazing. However, there are several issues with your channel, one of which is SEO optimization. Your videos are not SEO-optimized. If your channel is properly optimized from the start, it will go viral quickly. Since your channel is new, if SEO is done right from the beginning, your videos will soon appear in TH-cam recommendations. Along with that, your subscribers will increase significantly, and your channel will become eligible for monetization. If you'd like, I can give you a free consultation on this matter. Thanks & Regards, Sagor Hossain.

    It seems overly complex with too many welds and too many points of potential failure. Way too much labor, just build a larger round pontoon and get rid of all those welds and all those man hours.

      Round pontoons are a lot simpler to build but don't always work for our applications. The shape we use also gives more flotation at more levels of submersion.

    There is no bulkhead between each section. There was no side or bottom guard either

    • @roamermarineinc.6951
      @roamermarineinc.6951 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you look closely there is a water tight bulkhead every 5' and internal bracing between each bulkhead.

    How much would it cost to have 15 foot pontoons just two of them with this method I can't find any tube logs at a decent price just want a small pontoon for the river to fish

    I wonder what it would cost me for a pair 40' long? I want to start building a houseboat ASAP. Finding the floatation has been a impossibility and that's weird being I live in Florida. I really don't want to build fiberglass pontoons unless I become desperate.

    Can it be built with steel instead of aluminum?

    • @thornyturtleranch4u
      @thornyturtleranch4u 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of coarse it can but steel is heavier and more corrosion problem and need thicker material probably because of corossion.

    No bracing internally what ever you'll call it gussets don't get hit sideways

    Really nice job! I wish to buy your pontoons but as I'm based in france, transport and taxes will be twice the normal price. I plan to do it myself, what do you think of square pontoon with wood inside as reinforcement and front part with same shape as yours? thanks

    Do u need to use pu foam to fill the pontoon n increase buoyancy

    • @roamermarineinc.6951
      @roamermarineinc.6951 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, we currently do not need to fill them with foam because we build them in 5' water tight sections.

    • @thornyturtleranch4u
      @thornyturtleranch4u 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Filling the pontoon with any material would decrease buoyancy until the point in time when a ship wreck occurs then you might wish you had some buoyancy. But it seems a number of air tight compartments could be done in exchange for material.

  • @albertanasoul
    @albertanasoul 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    nice job! What do you normally fill them with? Could you put fuel tanks in on each side as a space saver? How much do they cost to build?

    • @roamermarineinc.6951
      @roamermarineinc.6951 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael Wilson Thank you! We build them in 5' water tight sections and offer fuel, waste and water tanks that fit perfectly in the pontoon sections! They start around $15k but pricing can be influenced by an array of options!
