Majora’s Mask wasn’t really meant to be a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time, it just ended up being that way by circumstance because the game only had a year to be developed and had to reuse models to save time.
5:31 When Mario 64 was ported to the switch, correct me if im wrong but im fairly sure that the reason the stair glitch was patched is because they ported the most recent version of the game, and the most recent version already had it patched out. (The 1997 Shindou release. Its not like they went out of their way to patch it for the modern release, it was already done ages and ages ago

Thing is with the emulator thing, they’re actually not in their legal right to do that, a court case involving Sony and Nintendo in the 90s was ruled in that emulators are considered competition and should be seen as such, it’s just that everyone’s scared to take Nintendo to court about it

@@tylerdaniel8956 There’s no such thing as ‘legally protected emulators’, they’re all legally protected, downloading ROMs themselves is fishy but it’s uploading them to ROM sites/running ROM sites that gets people on serious trouble with Nintendo

Number 2 is a nitpick. Just because you don't care for the farming and jrpg games that they show during Nintendo Directs doesn't mean no one else does. Everybody doesn't play the same games as you. I always hated the phrase "nobody cares." No, YOU don't care. You don't speak for everyone lol. I also hate whenever people use the phrase "Who asked for this ?" whenever a game comes out that they have no interest in. People act like developers are sitting gamers down in a room and asking them what type of game they want and giving it the greenlight. If that's the case, what weirdo sat down with Nintendo back in 1996 and said, "You know what would be great ? What if Mario fought Pikachu in a fighting game ? Wouldn't that be cool 😲 ?" Games just happen. It's not a matter of some random video game player requesting that it be made and then when it gets announced, it has a bunch of people confused why it exists. It's just dumb asf to me. We can use that same argument for literally any video game franchise. Why does Mario exist ? Why does GTA exist ? Why does Kirby exist ? Who tf asked for Sly Cooper to exist ? I don't get why people are so negative. It's very weird to me. It's like people have a hate boner for certain things.

@CBman11037 Yes, and the thing is, Nintendo fans have always been toxic asf. They literally hate anything if it's not a Nintendo IP. They hate other platform fighters, party games, kart racing games, and RPGs. The hate that Foamstars get is insane to me. It's okay to not be interested in the game, but oh my god, anytime that game gets mentioned, they come out like roaches just to tell the whole world how much it's a Splatoon clone or how "trash" the game looks. I'm convinced they don't play a lot of games. They strictly stick to just playing Mario Party, Mario Kart, Pokemon, Splatoon, and Smash Bros.
I think most of these are just nitpicks or things that he shouldn’t be getting angry about. Take #35 for example. If Nintendo acknowledges Tour as Mario Kart 9, then it is. But if your blood is boiling over something as insignificant as that, you shouldn’t be on the internet.

I just clicked off and had to leave that long comment after what he said in number 2 because people like him are aggy asf to me whenever I hear them say dumb stuff like who cares. Tbh I don't really see us getting a new Mario Kart entry till we get a new console. The Nintendo Switch might have a few more years under it's belt and then we'll see a new console roll out, so idk why people are still begging for Mario Kart 9 to show up on Switch. It's just delusional to me. I just feel like if they're so impatient why not just play a few other kart racing games if Mario Kart Tour isn't their thing or if 8's booster course isn't doing it for them 🤷♂️ ? I love KartRider: Drift, Chocobo GP, Lego 2K Drive, and Disney Speedstorm. It's like they're allergic to playing other games lmfao.

Point 62 is literally the reason why I have my own switch lite now. I got animal crossing for my birthday one year, and my brother asked to try it out. Not thinking anything of it, I let him play first. When I finally got around to playing myself, I realized that I couldn't make my own island on my OWN SWITCH. For the game that I GOT FOR MY BIRTHDAY. So yeah. I was upset. Luckily my brother bought me a switch lite and a new copy of animal crossing so he could keep his island.

Few things that Nintendo infuriates me is releasing unfinish games for $60 dollars with free updates. Charging you to play online when it was free because you get the same experience when it was first free, Smash Wii U online is bad and Ultimate online isn't any improvement. Nintendo really needs to make things easier and more convenient for customers. Nintendo announcing rpg or farming games that I would care less about, I'm only watching the Nintendo direct to see first party games and that is the reason why I bought a Switch is to play Nintendo games.
But the RPGs and farming games being in the direct aren’t taking up spots that would otherwise be Nintendo games. I’ll never understand that logic.
Nintendo only has so many games to announce at any given direct. They fill the rest with genres that are popular on switch

That and they don't have control over have third party games releasing in the same genre at the same time. ND Cube is made up of former members of Hudson Soft, that's why they took over the Mario Party series.

Joycon Droft is, unfortunately, a design flaw due to the model of joystick that Nintendo uses. They don't manufacture the joysticks themselves. They buy from the same supplier that Microsoft and Sony do, which is why PS5 drift was almost as bad for a while.
It's all because the manufacturers keep pushing cheaper and cheaper components to increase their own profits. You can actually prevent it by putting a piece of card stock inside your Joycons directly under the sticks.
That said, Nintendo is hardly the only company to lock multiplayer behind a service. In fact, all three major consoles do. It is, frustratingly, the new market standard.

Plus, Nintendo didn’t need to outright say it’s the 9th. If it’s mainline and was released after 8/8DX, then it is 9

Honestly still not over NSO completely replacing VC. I dont care about most of the games on there, i should be able to pick and choose which games i want to buy and at least not have to be connected to the inteenet to even play the dang game.
I don't work so a sub service flat out isn't feasible to me because of the monetary drain. I cant just save up for the game i want or own it on my console and on principle i despise that
You shut your face Majora's Mask was a perfect sequel especially compared to Tears of the Kingdom which is the worst video game I ever played.

There is a huge casual cozy game audience on Switch and the hybrid nature of the console works amazingly for those types of games.
As for JRPGS, is it really a surprise that a genre that dominates in Japan would be a focus in directs from a deeply Japanese company.
As someone who enjoys both genres, it makes directs tons of fun
There is a story to mario galaxy 1 and 2.
I can see how all of these facts are horrible, but I think the animal crossing facts that make me aggravated the most are not being able to choose if you want to have a separate island than whoever first played on acnh and not being able to have more than one island. I think everyone should be able to be “island representatives” if they want and not be forced to play on someone else’s island, but their own. Also not a huge fan of multiplayer bc whoever is a follower has no access to their bag and everything they pickup or catch is sent directly to recycling bin. Great game but a few things annoy me about it.

Agree with pretty much all of these points. But I cannot stand for the Steel Divers Slander. Steel Divers is underrated as fuck and I am willing to die on that hill. I have gotten so many hours of enjoyment out of that game and Nintendo needs to release a new one honestly. Other than that good video.
